The scene cuts to a doctor and other medical professionals reviving Devi in her bed. We see the vision again (might I point out for the third time in less than three minutes) as she comes to. Did I mention there was some repetition in this movie?

Devi tells the people in the room that they must save the woman she is seeing.  They get a little confused since she keeps changing tenses. Sometimes she says "He has killed her" then later that they must save her before he kills her. The doctor tells her that people often see strange things when they're hallucinating (Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't that basically what a hallucination is?) and tells the nurse to give her a sleeping injection.

We go from a screaming Devi to a woman on her bed, talking on the phone. As the camera moves, we can see that she's the one from the vision getting the knife in the gut. This is Parvathi, and she's up to no good. We overhear her end of the conversation. She tells whoever she's talking to that she has three copies of "the tape," and if anything happens to her one will go to the cops, and another to the press. She demands payment of three lakhs (300,000 rupees) or else she goes public. Say... Which tape do you suppose she's talking about?

Back at the Ram's place, Devi is sitting on the steps by herself. We get a lame attempt at a red herring when we are shown feet climbing the steps towards her. It's only Balam though, there to remind her that she's still not cleaned up the Murder House like she said she would. She has Balam bring the car around and she'll do it right then.

The room with the corpse in the wall is filled with items that have been covered with paper. Balam goes on and on about ghosts and how isolated the bungalow is. Devi finally tells him to shut up and go away.

Devi works her way through the rooms uncovering everything. She's making good time until she uncovers the little crystal lamp thing she saw in her vision. We spend entirely too long rapidly flashing back and forth between the lamp and Devi's face while the trumpet section goes to town on the soundtrack.

As she is reeling from the discovery of The Lamp, she accidentally uncovers the mirror on the wall. Yes it is the same one from her vision, which freaks her out even more. As she backs away in horror, we can see the plate hanging on the wall in the reflection. She hits her head on a set of hanging bells and makes a loud noise. Her freak-out escalates with the rising clamor. She backs up against the wall where the plate is hanging, and once again freaks out.

This scene goes on forever. Instead of having her discover one clue at a time over a long stretch they went for almost all of them at once. So you get this formula:

  1. See the item from the vision.
  2. Cut back and forth between Devi and the item about a dozen times.
  3. Cue the horns for a "Bamp! Baaaaaaaaaamp! Bamp! Baaaaaaaaaamp!" while that's going on.
  4. Stagger backwards in horror.

Did I mention this movie had a lot of repetition?

Devi takes the plate from the wall, and notices the plaster behind it is flaking off. She knocks on the wall and hears a hollow sound. I don't think this would work, since we saw Raincoat Man using bricks and mortar to seal the hole. I'd think that would be pretty damn solid. Anyway, that's enough for her to get the pickaxe and start pounding on the wall. She gets a large opening cleared then leans up close to take a good look inside. Gravity chooses this moment to move the skeleton that is in the wall, and it drops through the hole into Devi's face.
