The
doctor goes on to offer a few other examples of precognition, but his main point
is this - if no one believes that Devi has this power, then she will eventually
go insane. I'm sure there's no reason to question the validity of that
assessment. After all, he is a doctor. (sigh)
We find Devi at home, reclining on the bed. A rotating... thing begins to rotate. I don't know what this is. It could be a bookcase of some sort, but that really isn't important. Devi stares at it and looks nervous. The phone rings next to her and startles her. Ram is calling from the office to tell her that he'll be home in half an hour. She tells him to hurry because she's afraid. He calls her a coward and hangs up. Seriously!
Since she's off the phone, it's back to watching the rotating thing. She hears a faint voice calling to her. She looks out her doorway to see a pair of disembodied feet shuffling past with ankle bells on. The sound of the bells increases until they start a song!
"Pyar Tera Pyar" gets started as the ethereal form of Rama comes floating in through the front gate to the estate. This whole song seems to be Rama tormenting Devi as she flies around and passes through her all spooky-like.

There's really no other point to this song, so we'll just move on!
After the haunting, a car pulls up outside. Uncle Wujek is here to see Devi, and he's welcome company! He's here to find out if the tales of Rama being in the wall were true. Devi tells him that it was her, and he laments that she had to come to such a tragic end. The police have no leads at the moment, so the two of them try to go over what they knew of Rama's life before the end. Wujek asks where Rama spent the time off she had when she was a student. Devi gets a thoughtful look on her face and rushes off to check some bookshelves. She finds a pamphlet for the Bombay Museum, and decides to go there to snoop around.
Devi
brings Sunil along for company. She explains that her sister spent a lot of time
here to do her research for her thesis. She hopes to find something there to
give her a clue. She notices an empty display case with a placard that has the
same name and date on it as the idol from the pamphlet at home. She asks one of
the museum staff why this case is empty, and he gives her a hard time about an
answer. They finally get it out of him that the idol was made of pure gold, and
was lost while transporting it from the museum to an exhibition in London.
Devi
shows him the picture she has of the idol. The man asks how she got the picture,
and that two employees of the museum had been fired for this problem - Security
Officer Jagmohan and Record Keeper Parvathi. The police are also investigating
them as suspects in the loss of the artifact. Devi asks for their addresses, but
the guard doesn't have any further information. That is... until Devi bribes him
with 100 rupees. He happily provides their information. He does offer a warning
though - Jagmohan is not known to be level-headed and reasonable. He's also
standing about 20 feet away, listening to the conversation.
