Ram turns to Devi as if he would like to explain a few things. Devi gives him a look that would stop a runaway train. She slowly walks in front of him and takes the tape out of the VCR. She then throws it across the room (um, bad idea?) and it breaks a light bulb. She launches into a tirade about how he has killed her sister, and in an metaphorical sense her husband, and their unborn child. That's right, Devi's pregnant. Knowing this makes her adventures with Jagmo in the pool seem a little reckless, doesn't it?

She tells him that she doesn't want to be the mother of his child, and threatens to kill herself. Ram manages to get a grip on her arm before she can stab herself, and wrestles with her to get the knife away from her.

He begs her for the chance to prove he is innocent of killing Rama. She agrees to hear him out. He tells her that his father was irresponsible and lost all of his family's wealth to gambling. Ram had to bring himself up from nothing, and in the process of doing so met Jagmohan. The two of them began a racket of stealing antiques from the museum and selling them in other countries for tons of money. Then they would replace the items they'd stolen with fakes so no one would catch on. Between Jagmo and Parvathi the Records Keeper, they were able to cover their tracks fairly well. However, once Rama started coming to the museum for her research in that area, she was able to spot the fakes. Ram tried to bribe her to keep quiet but she refused.

At this point Devi interrupts and says she doesn't want to hear any more. She still believes that Ram killed her sister, but he insists that he did not. Parvathi was taping the meeting, but she didn't see Jagmohan had also gone into the house, and he was the one who shot Rama. Ram tells Devi that after that incident, he got out of the scheme. He changed his lifestyle and got into legitimate business. Jagmohan wanted to implicate Ram in the murder, so he planted Rama's body in his house to set him up. In the meantime, Parvathi started blackmailing him with The Tape. Jagmo was afraid that if Ram was caught, then he would be caught as well, so he killed Parvathi.

Devi says that even though he didn't kill anyone, he was still involved in the theft of those artifacts. Ram agrees and tells her she should finish what her sister started and have him punished for what he did. He tells her to call the cops so that he can atone for his wrongdoings.

Devi goes to pick up the phone. The World's Longest Dialing Sequence begins as she dials the number on a rotary phone in slow motion. As this is happening, we see a hand pick up a particularly pointy looking conch shell. As the voice on the phone starts speaking, the shell connects with Devi's head and ricochets off to break the large wall-mounted mirror. Devi goes to the floor as Ram turns to see what happened. Jagmo seems proud of his accuracy. Ram flies over to hand him a beating. Jagmo suggests that they kill Devi and wall her up in the house just like before, but Ram disagrees.

This leads to a lengthy fight where they trash a lot of different rooms of the nice house. I'll spare you the details, but just rest assured lots of things are broken. Ram finally knocks Jagmo out using an interesting combination of a leg-lock and a propane tank. Ram goes to check on Devi, but while he's doing so Jagmo comes to and stabs Ram in the back. Ram goes down, leaving Jagmo free to do as he pleases with Devi!

He proceeds with his suggested plan and starts knocking a hole in the wall. He gets Devi into place and starts sealing it back up again. Not sure where he got the mortar and whatnot to do this, but apparently they had some mixed and sitting in the rumpus room just in case.

Outside, Sunil shows up on his motorbike. He speed-limps into the house and begins calling for Devi. He notices the lights are out in the main living room, and thinks she may have gone to the police station. As he is turning to leave, Devi's Plot Alarm, oops, I mean watch alarm goes off again. Sunil turns back and heads to the darkened area of the house to investigate.
