Sunil
hits the light switch and sees the freshly patched brick section of the wall. He
knocks one of the bricks loose and finds Devi behind it. At this point he is
tackled by Jagmo, and yet another fight begins. I must say, for someone that was
limping around a moment ago Sunil is doing pretty well against someone that's
almost twice his size.
During
all the ruckus, Ram regains consciousness. Sunil continues to fight remarkably
well for someone in his condition. Ram climbs to his feet and pulls the knife
out while Sunil delivers roundhouse kicks with his injured legs (man he's tough.
Not quite Atul
tough, but he's a contender). Ram leaves Sunil to handle Jagmo while he breaks
open the wall to free Devi in slow motion.
To make a long battle short, Sunil pummels Jagmo until the cops get there, and they take him into custody. Sunil immediately begins limping again to preserve continuity. The police also take Ram into custody, and they prepare to depart. After one final hesitation at the front door, Ram is packed into the van and it drives off. Devi waves goodbye, and the credits roll.
Yep, that's right. She's pregnant, he's going to jail, and the house is wrecked. No need to tell the audience how things are going to wrap up!
