Now is a good time to bring this up. This movie was released in 1991. The wardrobes, hairstyles, and makeup all suggest that they weren't quite ready to let go of the 80's. Lots and lots of big, teased hair, frilly lacy clothes, and bizarre makeup are on display by all.

This song goes on at some length. The most noteworthy part about this whole number is a puzzling bit of graffiti on the wall. In perfect legible English, it says "Keep Bombay green. Have sex with a frog." We have a team of scientists working on what that could possibly mean.

When they are finished, Sunil, Devi, and Sudha are walking out of the building. Sunil tells Devi that he will come and carry her off for real one day, and make her his wife. She objects and teases him about his goals. He tells her that he has to go to London for three or four years, and he is leaving in the morning. He's got a contract to perform in a hotel's entertainment act (oooookay).

Sudha asks why Devi doesn't take him up on his offer. She tells her that they've been friends since they were children, and she knows that he is only joking when he says things like that.

That night Devi is sleeping in her room with Sudha. She's sleeping with full make up and earrings in as well. She begins to dream about the man in the raincoat again. This time she sees the girl's face. She also sees the girl being shot and falling to the floor, dropping the hairdryer. She sits upright in her bed in a panic. The girl she saw was her sister Rama! Sudha rolls her eyes and dismisses Devi's problem. Devi is determined to warn her sister, so she gets up and calls her on the phone.

Over at Rama's house, she's standing in a towel in front of the mirror when the phone begins to ring. She answers it to discover a very flustered and nervous Devi on the other end. Devi tells her that she saw someone kill her in her dream. Rama is happy to hear that, since it is said that someone you see die in your dreams will live a long life. Rama asks how school is going, and Devi tells her things are fine. She also mentions that Sunil had been there that day. Rama gets grumpy at this news and tells Devi she shouldn't be hanging around with him. They hang up the phone and Sudha gives Devi a hard time about flipping out over a dream.

The scene cuts to a car following someone down a rainy street. I can't recognize the woman that's doing the following, so we'll patiently wait to see who it is. The car she's tailing stops in front of a phone booth, and a raincoat-clad figure emerges. Why yes, they do resemble the shadowy figure from Devi's visions now that you mention it. We see the person making a call. The phone in Rama's bathroom rings, and she leans out of the shower to answer it. I won't ask why she is showering in a yellow bathing suit. I'm sure it isn't that important.

The mystery man doesn't say anything. Rama hangs up the phone after a few "Hello? Hello?" attempts. Raincoat Man gets back into the car and starts off again while the synth sound wails hard in the background. Mystery Woman continues her pursuit of Raincoat Man through the pouring rain. He comes to a stop outside of Rama's house and lets himself in the front door. We can't see the knob, so I don't know if he picked the lock, had a key, or if it was open. Anyway his entry is effortless. The footage here is exactly the same from Devi's visions, so we all know what's coming.
