Devi spends a few minutes being googly-eyed about Ram. She looks over at his house, and each time he's smiling and waving at her from different windows or terraces. Instead of thinking this is weird or creepy, she's smitten by him and giggles a lot whenever she sees him. Finally he ends up in her house. Uncle Wujek comes in and sees the two of them standing there staring at each other (hot staring action!). He asks Devi why she didn't offer Ram a seat, but Ram says he's only there to use the phone since his isn't working.

They go over to use the phone. Ram is having some legal paperwork settled concerning his bungalow that he's not lived in for years. The title is handed back over to him from some complicated business arrangement. He goes to see the house with the lawyer that was handling the transfer of ownership. The plot thickens! It's the same house we saw Raincoat Man walling-up Rama's body in! Just to make sure the unobservant audience gets this point, the movie does lots of shock close-ups on the doors and wall that the body is hidden behind.

Now it's time to show how good of a stalker Ram is, err I mean how much of a die-hard romantic he is. Devi is relaxing on her bed wearing a silky pink pajama suit thing. She's got her hair down and is completely made-up, earrings and everything. Her phone rings, and the caller begins sweet talking her. He says a few things that should strike us as odd... like "Why are you getting up?" and so forth. They have lots of cutesy-poo banter about how wonderful she is.

She finally figures out that he's watching her from his house, and busts him. Strangely, she doesn't get mad or call the cops. Instead she agrees to go to sleep and let him stay on the phone so she can "talk to him in her dreams." Okay...

Devi goes to sleep and has a dream of Ram coming into her room, picking her up, and carrying her off. She wakes up with a smile, and picks up the phone. Sure enough, Ram is still on the line, having slept out on his patio where he can still see her room. Mr. Smooth, this guy. She agrees to meet with him so they might get to know each other better. He tells her that he'll pick her up in his car in front of her house as soon as she is ready.

When he arrives, one of the house servants brings a note out to him. Devi has already left, and tells him that if he really wants to meet her, he'll find her before 3pm that day or else the whole deal is off.

Devi is at an outdoor eatery on the beach with a friend. She tells her friend that she's confident he will find her there. Her friend isn't so sure. We get a "time passes" camera fade, and we see that Devi's been there for a while. One of the staff mentions that it's less than a minute until 3 o'clock, and Devi gets antsy. We know she'll be all right though, since the song "Uper Haitho" is starting on the soundtrack. She looks out onto the water, and sees Ram approaching on a small watercraft.
