Devi
says she didn't realize that was the kind of bride he wanted. She tells him she
will go and call the proper bride. She leaves the room and Ram flops on the bed.
The shot goes blurry to suggest a long time passes. Ram hears Devi in the
doorway asking an imaginary person why they're pushing her. She does a good job
of pretending to be forced into the room. She's also changed into a beautiful
sari, and Ram looks much happier about this entrance than the first attempt.
However, his amorous intentions will have to wait. Devi dodges him and runs out
of the room and downstairs.
They
end up in the living room where all of the wedding gifts have been stacked. She
tells him not to get too restless and that they should open the gifts now. He
sighs and agrees to do so. As they open all of the boxes, they find they all
contain conch shells. Ram swears he didn't tell anyone they met when she broke
his window with one of these shells, but she starts chasing him around the room
in slow motion while really bizarre music plays loudly over the scene. The music
eventually bleeds over into the next song, "Tana Tana Zindhagi."
This one gets a little surreal. They have an elaborate set with giant shells and other aquatic type decorations strewn about while they do their thing. Oh and Devi gets to do the Slap Dance on Ram this time, so things are a little more equal in this movie.

Be sure not to miss the parts where the rain of pearls is showering down on them while they sing. It's interesting to see how many times they have to try and avoid getting any in their mouths. All criticisms aside, this is my favorite song of the show.
The next morning we see Ram getting ready for a business trip. He tells Devi that a big contract he had been working on when they met has finally been agreed to and he must go away for a few days to finalize everything. She tells him that she will freshen up the bungalow while he is gone.
That evening Devi decides to go for a swim. Those of you that are paying attention will notice the "Aaaaaaahhhhhooooooooohhhh" synth sound is back. She climbs into the pool and begins doggie-paddling around. When she puts her head underwater, she begins to have another vision.
A magazine with a horse on the cover. An ashtray with a burning cigar.
Devi looks startled and mildly panicked.
A small crystal lamp. The decorative plate on the wall.
She surfaces for a breath, then re-submerges.
A videotape with a label reading "100 Days." A broken wall-mounted mirror.
Another breath, then it's right back to the vision.
A
woman we don't know gets stabbed in the stomach by a man who appears to be
wearing a superhero costume. She falls to the floor.
Devi freaks out and frantically doggie-paddles back to the ladder. She makes her way back to the house and has goes to lie down on the bed. The synth sound follows her all the way there and torments her while she tries to rest. In her dream we see all the images we saw in the pool, although in a slightly different order. She bolts upright in bed and runs down the stairs, where she collapses breathlessly.
