After the song is over, Ulmi and Ravi are out taking a walk. Ulmi brings up the topic of marriage, and wants to know what the holdup is. Ravi explains that his parents won't allow him to get married before his older brother does. I was detecting a slight whiff of "The Taming of the Shrew" here but they don't take it that far. Ulmi pouts and tells him that he's got a month to get his act together or else she's out of there. Ravi tells her to relax, Suraj is coming home the next day and he'll talk it over with him.

Suraj makes a "Mistah Schmoove" entrance on his boat. As he disembarks, a bunch of suits that were waiting on the dock begin rattling off a bunch of impressive business language. "We're number one in the stock market, we made a big donation to charity," that sort of thing. Once were all assured of his power and importance, he gets into his car and heads to the office.

Little time is wasted once he's there. Not two seconds after he sits down at his desk, Ravi makes an appearance and starts with the marriage talk. Suraj tells him to calm down and stop acting like their parents. Ravi explains his situation, and Suraj says he'll talk to their parents to see if they will permit Ravi to get married first.

Mom and Dad aren't quite as liberal as Suraj hoped. Their main argument is that Suraj gets many proposals, but he doesn't seem to like any of the girls. Suraj tells them that he doesn't want his marriage to be business related or some form of alliance. He wants to marry a girl that he actually, you know, likes. They are willing to accept a girl from a lesser social standing as long as he picks one sometime soon. Dad tells him that they are hosting a party the next Saturday, and there will be lots of beautiful women from affluent families attending. They want him to stick around and see if he sees someone he likes. He agrees to sit through the torturous ordeal of having to meet lots of pretty ladies if it will make them happy.

We follow Suraj around in his car as he is driven around the city. While they are waiting at a stoplight, their car is hit from behind. Suraj looks back to see who it was, and pauses for a moment when he sees the driver. Shivangi steps out of the car and begins to argue with Suraj's driver.

Okay, the subtitles spell her name Shubhangi, as does the video box. However, later on there is a cake that has her name written on it, and it's clearly spelled Shivangi there. I'm going with that spelling cause it's in the movie, and cakes don't lie.

His driver is very upset and is giving her a hard time about the broken tail light. Suraj steps in and breaks it up, and is clearly interested in this turn of events. He tells her not to worry about the cost of the repairs and that everything will be fine. The traffic behind them gets built up and the other motorists start complaining. Shivangi gets in her car and pulls away. Suraj asks his driver if he's had lunch yet, then sends him off when he says he hasn't. Suraj takes the wheel and begins following Shivangi's car.

She pulls up to a concert hall and asks the attendant to park her car. Suraj catches him before he leaves and asks him who she is. All the attendant knows is that she comes there every day to rehearse, and he doesn't know her name.

Later that day, we see Shivangi at home. She's out on the balcony looking bothered. It just so happens that she's Ulmi's cousin, and they live together with Ulmi's dad. Ulmi sees her out there and goes out to ask why she looks so upset. She tells her about the accident and how cool Suraj was about everything. Ulmi starts teasing her about meeting someone, but Shivangi blows it off. Suddenly Shivangi starts sniffing loudly, and they run off to find her uncle smoking a cigarette. He's been told not to do this by his doctor, but he sneaks them in when he can. The girls scold him and he promises not to do it again.

Suraj comes home and tells Ravi that he's finally found the girl he wants to marry. Ravi excitedly calls their parents over and tells them the good news. Suraj admits that he doesn't know her name or where she lives, but he knows she's the one he wants. His parents think he's a little weird, but they're just happy that he's gotten this far. Ravi takes Suraj aside and starts coaching him on how to win his mystery girl over. It doesn't take long for him to see that Suraj has a lot to learn.
