Once outside Raj asks her if she has a car. They go into some rather annoying drunk talk about her keys but eventually find her car. Monty catches up with them and tells Raj to get away from his girlfriend. Jiya says she wants to go with Raj, so Monty threatens to fight. He says the winner goes home with Jiya. Raj tosses Monty the keys and tells him he's won, then pushes Jiya towards him.

It should be said that this whole introduction to Jiya paints her in a less than flattering light. Clearly she's beautiful, but she is annoying as Hell here. I was happy to see that when she's sober she's far, far nicer than what we're seeing here. As for now though, she's going to get even worse.

Jiya wants to see a fight, so she backs away and gives them room. Monty tries to attack but Raj easily avoids him and kicks him onto the back of a car. Jiya hops behind the wheel of her own car and tries to drive off, but she's in reverse and pins Monty's legs between her car and the one he's lying against. Raj pushes her into the passenger set and takes the wheel, freeing Monty's legs and driving off.

Raj heaves a big sigh and asks Jiya where she lives. She gives a lot of rambling (and presumably incorrect) directions while Monty gives chase in his own car. Jiya stands on the seat and waves at Monty while he screams at them. Raj tries in vain to get her to sit down, but she keeps waving her arms around in the breeze and laughing like an idiot. This goes on for some time until Monty rear-ends another car whose passengers get out and start kicking Monty's ass. Raj drives off while Jiya laughs at Monty's misfortune.

They stop the car when Jiya says they're home, but there is no house there. Instead, they're on the shore of some body of water, and she can't understand where the house went. She turns to Raj and tells him that he's handsome and brave, then tries to kiss him. However, she passes out before she completes her pass and falls face-first into the water.

As I said, that was possibly the most annoying introduction a lead character has ever had. By the time she passed out, I was ready to ignore her for the rest of the movie. However, I don't think I'm spoiling anything by saying she's nowhere near that bad for the rest of the movie.

We cut to the next morning. We see Jiya waking up in a nice bed, then quickly looking confused. She sits up and realizes she isn't wearing her own clothes, and doesn't know where she is. She sees a note nearby from Raj, who has brought her to his house since she couldn't find her own. He's washed her clothes (and pressed them) and made her breakfast before he went to training. She gets a sly grin on her face as she finishes reading.

She goes home to an apartment she shares with 4 or 5 other girls about the same age. They ask her all sorts of questions about where she was and what happened. They're all very excited and encourage her to chase Raj since he sounds like a class act. She gets a thoughtful and mischievous look on her face to suggest she agrees.

Over at Raj's place we see a delivery guy dropping off a large floral arrangement with a note. Jiya says that she's left something very valuable at Raj's place, and if he finds it he should call her. He does call her, but tells her there are no jewels or anything left behind. She says that what she's lost might be more precious than that, and tries to get him to meet with her. However he's adamant about seeing her again, and tells her goodbye. Jiya looks somewhat hurt as she hangs up, then delivers her signature line (in English), "I'll get you, baby." It almost sounds like a threat, but in the nicest possible way.

She starts showing up at places Raj spends time, and even tries to butt in on the men as they jog. Raj keeps rejecting her, and she gets frustrated. She stops a couple of men as they pass and ask them how she looks. They all reply that she's quite a looker, and she asks Raj why he doesn't think so. He doesn't really answer and brushes her off again.
