Shivani
goes off to take a little walk on her own. However her solitude is broken when
Vijay shows up. He says that he's given Ashok a high-paying job, and asks if
she's happy now. She says that she is in fact not happy. She gives him some more
snippy replies to his questions, so he asks her what he can do to make her stop
hating him.
She tells him that his problem does not have a solution. Sick people can go to the hospital. Insane people can go to an asylum. However, his problem is that he's an idiot, and they lack any facilities to deal with those. He tries to outfox her and asks her how she knows he's an idiot. She tells him that idiots reveal themselves in short order, and he proves his idiocy every time he opens his mouth.
As they walk along the path, they come to a curved palm tree upon which someone has hung a dartboard. I thought this to be an odd place for this, since anyone who misses the board has just thrown a dart down the sidewalk where people are hiking. Ah well, guess they're counting on only sharpshooters attempting to play. They continue snapping at each other while Shivani throws a few darts, missing the mark each time. She makes a bet that he can't get a bulls-eye with all three of his darts. He says he can, and she says he'll lose the bet. Vijay becomes very serious, and his look becomes almost cruel. He tells her that he never, ever loses. He then throws all three darts without looking away from Shivani's eyes. He then stomps off, leaving her there to look at the board. Sure enough, three bulls-eyes.
I have to mention the musical score of the movie here. It sounds as if it were done on a portable keyboard, circa 1982. The only reason I'm picking on it is that it sounds so ridiculous during these "really tense" scenes. Have a listen. (~9MB)
His pride wounded (or something), Vijay goes off to sulk on a dock. He begins to imagine a dancing girl on the end of the pier, leading us into the next song, "Tu Samane Jab." This one is odd. I've gone 24 articles on this site, and this is the first time I've seen Madhuri Dixit let a snake crawl all over her neck.

Other than the snake part, this is a fairly straightforward love song. Vijay imagines Shivani doing all sorts of odd things, some involving ice, some involving rooms on fire, and then there's the snake, which we've already covered. Meanwhile, Shivani poses and dances with Ashok in her half of the song.
Well
that's enough of that for now, let's check in back home. We look in on
Mohanlal who is sitting in his front room, fretting over his racing forms.
He complains about not being able to pick the winners like he used to, but
he is soon interrupted by the most unholy nightmare imaginable. Here's
Johnny Lever's big entrance. He and his partners are all cross-dressing
traveling thieves, posing as entertainers. They burst into Mohanlal's house
and "perform." Then Champa (Johnny) distracts Mohanlal while the other two
sneak into the other rooms to loot them.
I'll admit, parts of this plan work. I know that if this happened to me, I would be so far gone in my mind that I might never return. Anyway, the plan seems to be a success. Champa buys them enough time for the other two to come back into the main room, then they all head out the front door. Mohanlal, being rather aware of his cash, notices that they've taken some. He stops them on the porch and reclaims his money. He also takes all of their jewelry in exchange for not calling the cops. Mohanlal thinks on his feet, that's for certain.
We
then have a jump cut back to the vacationing trio. We see Ashok and Shivani
sharing a romantic bubble bath. Shivani gets in wearing a robe, which is
promptly soaked. The filmmakers take the "Creepy Meter" and crank it to full
as we see Vijay peeping in on them from the garden. As the happy couple
share sudsy hugs, we get repeated shots of Vijay staring at them. In the
last close-up of his face, we see a tear roll down his cheek.
At this point, Shivani's spider sense tingles, and she says someone is watching them from outside. Ashok checks the windows, but he doesn't see anyone there. He tells Shivani she must have imagined it. However, we cut outside and see Vijay hiding behind a tree. His right shoulder is twitching like crazy, and his hand is shaking so badly that he must steady it with the other to take a drag from his cigarette.
After such a fun-filled vacation, it's time to head back home.
