As you may or may not know, there's only one way to really tear into someone that's hurt you - sing them a really scathing song! We cut out to the performance of "Ek Bewafaa Hai," and watch as Raja delivers a vicious verbal attack to soothe his wounded heart.

This is a cool song, and does indeed sound like a "fusion" of some Western styles with traditional Indian sounds. Also, as far as vengeance in song form, it's pretty harsh. He spends the whole song accusing Anjali of being an unfaithful person, and describing how much she's hurt him. Throughout the song, we see Pallu and Dil smirking at Anjali who isn't taking this onslaught very well. Oblivious to the drama unfolding to his left, Aditya seems to be reading into the song and realizes that there's more to it than meets the eye.

Just as the song is winding down, Aditya leans over to Anjali and whispers something. They both get up and walk out, hand in hand. Raja catches Dil's eye in the front row, and glares at him while Dil smirks.

We cut to the freeway at night. Pallu is driving home with Dil, who appears to be inebriated. He merrily slurs his way through his own rendition of the song he just heard while Pallu smiles at him. A red car comes up quickly from behind, then overtakes Pallu. The red car swerves in front of them and blocks the road. We see that Raja is driving the red car, and he still looks good and mad. He gets out and pulls Dil out of his car. While I'm not completely sure why, I can't say I was too upset when Raja starts bouncing Dil's head off of his car.

Raja looses some cool points when he also tosses Pallu onto the hood of her car when she comes out to try and calm Raja down. Another car pulls up to the scene, and Aditya climbs out. This is about when things get a little more complicated.

Raja stops his slapping when Aditya makes his presence known. Raja tells Aditya that he knows Dil and Pallu were up to something, but Aditya says he knows all about it already. He says he's known about it from the very beginning, and was even the one who told them everything they know. We cut to the interior of Aditya's car, where Anjali is holding her head and realizing the jig is up.

We cut back to Aditya's house, where we have our big explanation scene. Aditya knew that even despite their marriage, Anjali couldn't forget her first love. He says he even understands why, and that she was forced into a situation that she wasn't really mature enough to fully understand. He says that it was really his fault, he should have known better. However, by the time he realized what was happening, things had started to change. He noticed right about the time he was ready to make the changes to make things work, she had already mentally walked out on him. He then started thinking of ways to win her back to his family, and that's where his friends came into the picture.

Aditya had told them from the start what was going on, and they are not to be thought of as enemies. At this point, Dil chimes in that he won't be teasing Anjali anymore. Even his voice has changed a bit, and is much more sincere and friendly. He asks Anjali for her forgiveness of the things they've put her through. Aditya picks up where he left off. He tells Anjali that he is not angry with her, and understands what she's gone through. He doesn't consider any of the things that have happened to be sins, and he has never thought of her as guilty. He engineered all of this to make sure Anjali knew that she had two paths, and that she had to be sure of the one she wanted to take. He tells her that she is free to make her own choice, and he will support it no matter what she decides. He'll be fine, and the children will eventually understand.

This seems like a rather insidious plot to me. Why not sit down with Anjali for ten minutes and say, "Look, I know you weren't very excited about all this, so I'll understand if you want to go back with the man you really loved. No hard feelings." Of course, that would take about an hour and a half out of the movie, and we can't have that!

Raja lights up at this news, and eagerly tells Anjali that this is what they'd been waiting for. He says that now that it's all out in the open, he can tell her that he does love her deeply, and wants to be with her. Even her sister Aarti had wanted them to be married, and here's their chance to do what she wanted.

After a moment, Anjali asks him if she wants to know what she is thinking about. She says that a wife can be unfaithful, a girl, a lover, they can all be unfaithful. However, a mother cannot. So therefore, how can she abandon the twins, who's real mother has already left them? The truth be told, they never were Aarti's to begin with - it's always been Anjali who has raised them and been with them.

As if on cue, the twins come marching down the steps in slow motion, calling out to their mama. Anjali holds them tight and tells them that she'll never leave them.
