Another
little end of day montage plays out, this time with the watchman greeting Vishal
as he enters the elevator. Vishal arrives at his door (and once again presses
the buzzer) and is happily greeted by Swati. He proudly announces that he has
tickets to see Spider-Man that night, but Swati is not as excited as he is. She
says she wants to see a romantic drama, causing Vishal to get crabby. He says
he's tired of her "stupid romantic films," but she's just as tired of his
mindless action movies. He promises to take her to see her mushy love story the
next time if she'll go along with Spider-Man tonight. She reluctantly agrees and
the tension is dissipated.
However, while they are talking, Bai comes padding slowly down the hallway until she's standing right next to them. She does her trademark gnawing on her fingertip and smiling weirdly as she waits for them to notice her. When Swati finally does turn to her, Bai tells her that she's done with the day's work. They stare awkwardly at each other for a minute, then the scene changes to the parking garage of the movie theater.
There's quite a turn-out for the show. We follow our heroes into the lobby, then to their seats. Inside the darkened theater, we can hear the dialog from the film as we watch Swati and Vishal munching on popcorn (it's the "So, I have a superhero stalker" rain scene, if anyone cares!). After a bit of this, Swati notices that everyone in the theater is slowly turning to face her. She begins to look uncomfortable, then glances to her right. That's when she sees that Vishal is no longer sitting with her - her new date is the spooky lady from the apartment!
Swati jumps out of her chair and hears a voice behind her. She sees Bai is there, and she tells Swati that her work for the day is done. Now completely freaked out, Swati turns back to where Zombie Woman was sitting, but she has disappeared. When Swati looks back to where Bai was, she now sees the entire audience of the theater is now a horde of the walking dead, and is lumbering slowly towards her. She bolts for the door, and runs out into the lobby. She sees the small blue boy we saw earlier standing all alone out in the entryway, then a quick cut shows us that Swati is in bed. Her eyes fly open and she trembles under the sheets for a bit as she gets her bearings.
Seeing
that Vishal has not been disturbed by her stirring, she gets up and goes
downstairs. Still troubled by the images she's seen, she walks out to the
balcony for some air. As she looks out over the skyline, we get a POV shot from
behind her, and it appears to be walking towards her slowly. Not to worry though
- it's only Vishal. He hugs her from behind and looks out with her. He asks if
she was thinking about Manjeet again, then asks her to try and forget about her
for him.
They go back inside and try to get some sleep. Swati has yet to drift off when she sees Manjeet standing in the bedroom door, giving her a mean glare. Swati frantically tries to call out to Vishal to wake him, but she finds that she is unable to speak. She also appears to be having problems moving her arms, as she puts forth a huge amount of effort to just move her hand in Vishal's direction. She suddenly looks a lot calmer, and crosses her hands across her chest, in a manner reminiscent of our burial position. Manjeet's phantasm moves out into the hallway, and Swati regains the ability to move freely. She slowly sits up and goes out into the hall after the spirit.
Once
Swati is out of the bed, Vishal finally notices that something's up. He sees the
empty half of the bed, and calls out to Swati. Swati doesn't respond, and
continues to walk away. She's down the stairs and out the door before Vishal
catches up to her. He stops her right before she can enter Thakkar's apartment.
He asks her if she was sleepwalking, and all she can say is "that woman..." and
just trails off. Vishal seems more annoyed than anything else, and tells her
they're going back to their place.
They have a somewhat heated conversation on the steps while Millennium Boy sits on a nearby chair. Swati thinks that there is something seriously wrong with her, but Vishal tries to calm her down. He tells her that this is nothing to worry about and that she should just forget the whole thing.
Just to make sure we get it that this isn't all in Swati's head, we see outside the main door of the apartment, where Blue Boy holds a vigil.
