A quick cut takes us over to Rahul's place, where he is lying comatose in a lawn chair. We see off to the side of the shot that Manmo and company have arrived. He taps Rahul on the leg to bring him around, and points out that Rashmi is here. Boom, sweet love music kicks in as they look at each other with the cutest googly-eyes I've seen outside of grade school. Manmo says that lovers who have a misunderstanding then reconcile will have their love grow stronger as a result. Kind of like how once you break a bone, when it heals it is much stronger in that place. Okay, he didn't say the stuff about the bone, but if you think about it, that really applies here. Moving on... Manmo and Chandan leave the two lovebirds alone to work out the details.

Rashmi sits down next to Rahul, who can barely bring himself to look her in the eye now. She turns his face towards her, and they just start smooching like it's going out of style. They come up for air after a bit, and Rahul suggests that the two of them should go off on a trip to get away from all of this hoopla surrounding them.

After an emphatic nod from Rashmi, they teleport to their vacation via our next musical number, "Churaliya Chain Tumne." This song mostly consists of the same two lines repeated ad nauseam while the two of them roll around on the beach, casting smoldering glances at each other.

Now that these two are back on track, we really should check in on Mallika. What a surprise - she's at home, drinking booze. Jaidev comes over to see her, and notices that she's looking like five miles of bad road. He points out a few good facts - she's miserable, Rahul is having the time of his life. She's slowly killing herself with substance abuse, Rahul is making merry with his new ladyfriend. He tells her that this is no way to conduct herself.

Mallika thinks about what he's said. She tells him that he's right - she shouldn't be killing herself like this. It would be much more appropriate if Rahul would die! She says that she wishes she had killed him with her own two hands when she had the chance. Jaidev says that he will be more than happy to help her out with this project, so Mallika gives the green light for him to go and kill Rahul.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, yes the music was building up dramatically during that scene. Yes, it did end abruptly when the scene changed, thank you very much.

We now find ourselves looking at a decent sized boat out in the sea. A jump cut shows Mallika on her cell phone, calling Jaidev. She asks him where he is, and he says that he's reached Goa. She asks him why he's taken off to Goa all of a sudden. He replies in plain language that he's there to kill Rahul just like she told him to. Mallika realizes what's happening and tells Jaidev to abort the mission. Mallika explains that she was drunk and emotional at the time she said that, and she doesn't really want him to kill Rahul. Jaidev says that's too bad, since he also wanted Rahul dead in the first place and he's going through with this.

Mallika tries several different arguments to get him to call this off, but Jaidev is convinced that this is the only way he can stop the pain that Rahul is causing her. Jaidev tells her that he can feel every bit of pain that she feels, and that her tears burn him like acid. This is all because he loves Mallika! I've got some pointers for your sweet-talking techniques when you have some time, Jaidev. Mallika is shocked by this revelation, and is rendered speechless.

We cut to Jaidev knocking on the door to the place Rahul and Rashmi are staying in. Rashmi lets him in, and is surprised to have him visiting. He ignores her questions as to the nature of his visit, and asks her where Rahul is. A jump cut reveals that Rahul is ... well he's not at home. He answers his cell phone and hears nothing at first. Another jump cut shows Jaidev on the deck of a boat, pacing back and forth as he holds his phone to his ear. Up on the bridge of the ship we can see that Rashmi has been taken captive, and is tied to something with her hands behind her!
