Rashmi and Rahul go for a ride in his convertible. He asks her if she is pleased with all of her recent success. She naturally replies that she is, and says she doesn't know how to thank him for all he's done. He says there is a way, then trails off. He pulls over to the side of the road, then stops the car. She asks him what he wants to say, but he will only say that he's got a problem. If he tells her what it is, then she may be in a conundrum of her own. This goes on and on for a while, until Rashmi finally uses the pronoun "tum" to talk to him. He lights up at this and says that's what he's been waiting to hear from her all day.

In Hindi, there are varying degrees of formality when addressing someone. "Aap" (pronounced like "opp") is the most formal, "tum" (as in "tomb") is used in a condition of close familiarity such as between friends, and "tu" (as in "too") is used for close relationships. Her use of "tum" here indicates that she is addressing him as a friend.

He gets out of the car, and she follows him a few steps away. He tells her that this car is a gift to her. She is flattered, but tells him that she can't accept such an expensive present. He chastises her for looking at the value of the car, and says she should look at the heart of the man giving it to her.

Rashmi looks at him with an expression of mild confusion and nervous anticipation. Rahul looks into her eyes, takes her hand, and tells her that he loves her. Rashmi has a mild swoon, then eagerly... hugs him. Yep! The two of them hug for a moment, then celebrate their newfound love for one another with our next musical number, "Mohabbat Hai Tum Se."

Okay, so we've got ourselves a situation here. Rahul now loves someone else, but Mallika isn't in on this. We cut over to Mallika's house where Rahul has just arrived. She tells him that she's been thinking about him a lot as of late, and he says that whenever she thinks of him, he will always appear. She says that this isn't the case - he barely has time to see her anymore. Rahul begins edging towards slimeball territory here when he says that she's being silly - she knows how much he loves her. He says that he's under a lot of pressure at work, and that's why he's not been able to see her.

Mallika says that she thinks Rahul has changed, and wonders what's up. Rahul decides to come clean, and tells her that he has had a pretty big change in his life recently. He announces that he has "chosen the girl who will be his life partner." So romantic! Mallika doesn't really respond to this, until he says that he has fallen in love with someone. With a loud whoosh on the soundtrack, we have a crash zoom on Mallika's face as realization hits her like a dump truck with bad brakes. He asks her if she knows who he's talking about, but Mallika isn't able to speak. He goes ahead and tells her that it's Rashmi, then gives Mallika a hug. Mallika can only stare blankly over his shoulder while he hugs her. We have two repeated slow motion zooms on her face while the music cranks up in the background. Then, just as before, while the tunes are blasting away they cut abruptly to silence as we see Jaidev working out in the gym.

Jaidev furiously yanks the weights on one of the machines as Liza slinks into the room. She coyly bends over a nearby machine, and tells Jaidev that this is his lucky day. She's got news that Mallika is going to be in need of a strong supporter soon, since her heart is about to be destroyed. She paws his back and neck as she relays the news of Rahul's recent news and new romance. Jaidev says nothing, but looks thoughtful about this development.

At the office, we listen in on a phone call from Rahul to Rashmi. She is in the shower, but turns it off to answer her cell phone. She tells Rahul that she will call him back later, but he's feeling mischievous. They have a nauseatingly cute talk for a bit until Manmo interrupts with a contract for Rahul to inspect.
