Inside the barracks, we see Edward the Driver strutting into the room with a wicked gleam in his eye. He spots Chander across the room and heads over to him. Chander asks Edward what he's staring at, and Edward replies that he wonders which viewing angle of Chander's was so striking that Asha would fall head over heels in love with him. Chander wonders what the heck he's talking about, so Edward gives him a letter from Asha and the keys to a motorcycle. He tells Chander that his heroine is waiting for him to come and do a romantic scene with her.
Cut
to Asha, who is parading around a grassy hilltop in a sporty little red outfit.
She hears the roar of Chander's motorbike approaching, and she tries to adopt
the appropriate dramatic pose/expression/what-have-you. Chander comes to a stop
(amidst an alarming amount of smoke) and dramatically (yes I know I'm using that
word a lot here, but trust me, it's applicable) walks over to Asha. He places
his hand on her shoulder, turns her towards him, and starts planting some
forceful and awkward kisses on her face.
He then tells her that she is "very nice," and that he can do anything for her. He also adds that he will give up his life for her, as well as kill anyone that she sees fit. You know, the typical first date chatter. He then embraces her awkwardly again, and we fade to smoke. Cut back in to Asha, standing alone in a cloud of smoke with her eyes closed. In the background, we hear Chander leaning on the bike's horn, trying to get her attention. Ah, so it was all a daydream, and not just overacting. This time! She sulks over to him and asks why he's over here honking instead of coming over to do what she was thinking of. Chander asks how he was supposed to know what she was thinking (amen!) but if she tells him what she was thinking, he'll go for it. She lies and says that she was thinking of taking a ride on the mountains, and asks for him to take her there.
Chander
looks to where she's indicating, but seems reluctant. He tells her that the
clouds near the mountain indicate that a storm is not far off. She tells him
she's going, with him or without him, and heads off. He chases her, and sure
enough find themselves in the midst of a raging snowstorm. Luckily they also
find a guest house to take shelter in. He tells Asha to make herself as
comfortable as she can, and goes out to get some firewood.
As they get settled in the cabin, we check back in at headquarters to see what's going on. Mirza stalks through the barracks, and notices the empty bunk that has been assigned to Chander. Seething with fury or something, he goes back the way he came to report. Bhalla meets with him in his office, and tells Mirza to file a report that Asha has been kidnapped by Chander. Mirza gives him a questioning look, and asks if he should really knowingly file a false report. Bhalla says that at this point he doesn't know what is going on, but no matter what he's going to get Chander.
Back in the cabin they've got the fire going. I'm not sure how much I'm meant to read into this, but there are definite signs of lipstick on Chander's cheek, and we didn't see them get there! She asks Chander what he's thinking about, and he replies that he's not sure what's going to happen when word gets out that he's involved with his boss' daughter. Asha tells him not to worry, her father will not be upset about this, and she'll tell him all about Chander when he gets back from "abroad." Chander asks what she will tell him, and she replies that she'll say she loves Chander! This launches us into the next musical number, "Maine Tujhe." It's your standard issue "I'm in love and happy about that, so I'll dance around in the snowy mountains!" kind of tune!

After
spending some time rear-projection skiing and smooching on the slopes, it's time to
pay the piper for all this fun we're having. We join the men back at the
barracks as a squad of military police march into the room. They find Chander
and tell him that he's under arrest for Asha's kidnapping. Chander is surprised
to hear this, and asks when she was kidnapped. The guards aren't too cooperative
and insist on Chander accompanying them to the station, but they are stopped by
Asha when she comes into the room.
Seeing that the case is closed and Asha is apparently not all that kidnapped, the men apologize and leave the room. Asha turns to Chander and says that she knows who could have filed such a complaint, and will go take this matter up with them.
