Chander looks grim as he learns the fate of Zhum Zhum's dad, and says that he does indeed remember her. After a moment of hesitation, he tells his new boss (when did he start working for them?) that he'll take the assignment. He says that they should call Zhum Zhum and tell her that they are on their way, and the code word they'll use is Dhumdhum (pronounced "doom doom"). Why not!

We cut to a symbolic moment of Chander strapping his father's watch to his wrist. After a moment of contemplation, he kisses the watch, then stares at the camera with eyes that are filled with determination. This of course is all done to the tunes of Star Wars yet again.

Cut to an airplane making an approach in a mountainous village. The plane levels out and we see Chander and Dilher crouching in the open doorway, preparing to jump. I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that they are not actually wearing parachutes as we know them. I'm no expert, and I've never been skydiving, but from my limited experience, most parachutes are kept in a large bundled pack on the person's back, with a smaller reserve chute secured in the front at the person's waist.

In this film, the two men have laundry bags on their backs, and when they land on the ground (in slow motion!) we can clearly see that they have no backup chute, there is no pack on their backs, and they are holding the cords of the chutes with their bare hands. Budget constraints? Or are we to assume they just have incredibly tough hands and arms? Oh and we have the special effects crew back on hand that handled the dive from the waterfall. Rest assured, no action figures were harmed in the filming of the parachute drop scene.

The boys land and take a quick survey of their surroundings. We are still in the mountain village, some distance from the center of town. It's snowy and cold out, but that doesn't deter Our Heroes.

Down in the village, we hear the strains of the next musical number winding up in the tavern where all of the officers are drinking it up. They are in the company of Ms. Zhum Zhum herself, and she sings the men into a frenzy with "Mera Naam Dhum Dhum." She is interrupted when Chander and Dilher make their way into the crowd as they cut a rug. Oh, and would someone please tell me why there's a guy just wearing his hat, a tie, and boxer shorts?

I have to admit, it's a catchy song. That is except for the part where the guys are talking like the old Cylons and doing The Robot. Anyway, the song establishes that the operatives have made contact and it's time to get this mission underway.

She leads Chander over to the bar to discuss the details of their plans. She says that she's heading to the HQ tomorrow where they are keeping Asha. She says that Chander should follow her, but she will be in the company of the chief security officer. Zhum Zhum has convinced him that they are in love, so it won't be odd that she's with him. At that moment the Security Chief enters the room, so she whips up a plan to cause a distraction.

Zhum Zhum tells Chander to get too fresh with her and make a scene. Chander (without any hesitation!) begins smooching her and putting his hands all over, and she struggles loudly against his advances. With a hearty slap she forces him off a bit, and Security Chief intervenes. He takes Zhum Zhum away and Chander tells Dilher the plan while feigning drunkenness.

The game is afoot!
