Rahul is enjoying his dual-projector slideshow of Kiran's Greatest Headshots and playing a now-familiar tune on his harmonica. As he swings lazily in his hammock, he begins daydreaming (despite the fact that it's night time, it's still daydreaming) about Kiran dancing for him. This goes on for a surprisingly long time.

Once Kiran is done romping through Rahul's head, we call it quits for the day and just move on to the next one! We join the Awasti family at their home, with Sunil pacing a hole in the carpet. No one says anything, and they spend the afternoon just staring at the phone on the table. After a few moments of this tense action, the phone does give them a ring.
Kiran
doesn't want to answer it. Sunil tells her that unless she wants to live with
this fear for the rest of her life, she'd better face her fear. She finally
picks it up and says hello. On the other end we find a very cheerful and lively
Rahul, commenting on how long it took her to answer. He reminds Kiran that he
told her to stop seeing Sunil, but she continues to do so. He tells her that
anything that happens to Sunil now is beyond his control - she had the option to
stop it, but she didn't.
Kiran looks up to Sunil, who is listening in on another phone. She tells Rahul that she will no longer see Sunil, and understands the consequences if she does. She tells Rahul that she wants to meet him! Rahul is not as simple as she think he is, and tells her that he knows she's trying to set him up in a trap. Kiran panics a little, and swears a little too eagerly that she's not trying to lure him out.
Rahul tells her that despite his better judgment, he will meet with her at the poolside restaurant at the Holiday Inn in town. She asks him how she will identify him, and he gives her some mushy talk about how her heart will know when he's with her. Then he gets a little more realistic and says that it doesn't really matter, since he recognizes her. Rahul then ends the call somewhat abruptly. Vijay chimes in that he thinks they should take the police with them, and Poonam suggests that they at least have a few other people on hand if the cops won't do it. Sunil assures them all that he can handle this one himself.
We
cut to the designated meeting place where Kiran is waiting behind the biggest
pair of sunglasses I've seen in a long time. A helpful (if not a little wobbly)
zoom shows us that Sunil is stationed on a balcony a few floors up overlooking
the pool area. He's keeping a close watch on the scene, but so far no suspicious
activity has occurred.
We see Rahul sitting at a table several spaces behind Kiran. He's got a dapper straw hat on, and a mighty fine pair of shades of his own on. He slowly (and dramatically) takes them off, as Kiran does the same. He begins thinking about what he's going to say when he speaks to her, giving us a little characterization in the process.
We
learn that they attended college together, but Rahul was too shy to ever speak
to her. He goes on and on, ending up with more of a speech than an introduction.
He finally gets up and begins walking to her table, but notices her glancing
upwards to Sunil's location. He follows her look, and with a furious gleam in
his eye, keeps walking past her table.
We cut to later that evening. Back at the house, we have a reprise of the earlier "let's all stare at the phone!" scene, only this time it's darker. Oops, my mistake. Out of the shadows comes a police officer. The phone rings, and the cop tells them to keep him talking for a while as it takes several minutes to trace the number he's calling from. With that bit of advice, Kiran reluctantly picks up the receiver.
