Vikram stays underwater for a while, and notices that his keys aren't the only things resting on the floor of the pool. He also picks up another small metallic object, then surfaces. When he is pulled from the pool, he shows them he's found what he wanted, as well as a cigarette lighter with the initials "A. K." printed on it. Khanna takes the lighter with him and compares it to the lighter in the photo of Ajit. Sure enough, they appear to be the same.

We cut back to the house where Simran is literally pouting in her bed. Kajal is apparently also having naptime, and she sits up looking sleepy. She asks what the odd sound she's hearing from outside could be. As it happens, Khanna is there to drain the pool. He has the men start the pumps, and the water begins spraying out of a couple of nozzles. Let's take a look at this "water," shall we? It's brilliant blue. First of all, there's no way that came from the sludge pit that was the swimming pool. Second, I doubt that whatever is coming out of that nozzle is even safe to swim in at all.

Uncle Rajan comes out and asks what they're doing this for, but Khanna doesn't give him a clear answer. He merely tells him that he's doing his job, and continues emptying the pool. Vikram comes out and also asks why it's so important all of a sudden to clean the pool when it's been nasty for months, but Khanna ignores him too. Vikram seems to have a confident, knowing smirk on his face as he asks this, but we'll get to that in a moment.

Kajal states the obvious and says that she thinks Khanna suspects them, and that's why he's emptying the pool. We spend a few more moments watching all the nozzles, then cutting back to all of the onlookers acting nervous. Finally the pool is dry, and all that remains at the bottom (besides two hundred pounds of algae and pond scum) is the statue that Ajit had been tied to! Nothing else!

We cut to the youngsters discussing this latest development. There is some debate about how the body vanished, but no one really fields any good ideas. All they can agree on is that now that Khanna is on the case, they're likely to have trouble.

Speaking of Khanna, he's over at Tanya's place for more questions. Tanya tells him that if he wants answers, he should talk to Simran since that's who Ajit had gone to see the night he vanished. They realize that the date of the disappearance coincides with the night that Simran won the contest, and they all went to the farmhouse to celebrate.

Back to the youngsters. They retrace their steps and think hard if they've left any sort of evidence behind. They realize that no one bothered to drain the gigantic transparent glass bathtub full of blood that Ajit died in. I think if you combined the brains of these four, you might have enough intelligence to tie your shoe. Kunal and Kajal go off to pull the plug while Simran and Sameer make intense faces at them.

It doesn't take long for this simple task to go wrong either. The police have set up a roadblock for some reason and have a few cars backed up. Kunal notices that of all the luck, Khanna is in one of the cars that has been held up. Kunal decides that he's onto them, and they must get to the house first. Khanna notices them and gives them a friendly "hello!" and waves, but Kajal and Kunal just put on shades and act like they don't know him.

This pushes Khanna's "something is wrong!" button and he decides to follow them. This leads to a fairly cookie-cutter car chase, complete with squealing tires on dirt roads and near-misses with oncoming traffic. Kajal and Kunal finally arrive at the house and nearly run over the housekeeper. The housekeeper whom I might add has not noticed the gigantic transparent glass bathtub full of blood. The two youngsters rush past him and go upstairs. Kunal pulls the stopper and the race against time begins.

We have lots of cuts back and forth between the draining tub of vibrant bright red water and Khanna slowly making his way through the house. Of course the tub finishes just as Khanna walks into the bathroom, so he sees nothing out of the ordinary. He comes back out into the hallway where he finds the couple.

They act as normal as they can, and engage Khanna in some friendly banter. He tells them to cut the crap and asks them what they know about Ajit Khurana. They tell him that they don't know anyone by that name.
