Kunal
tells Sameer that he doesn't dispute anything that Sameer is saying. He only
says that he's seen Ajit up and on his feet with his own eyes, and doesn't know
how. Kunal asks how they are supposed to explain what they've seen. Sameer,
being the sensitive boyfriend that he is, claims that Simran was hallucinating.
Kunal asks how it is possible for three people to hallucinate the same thing.
Kunal declares that Ajit Khurana must be alive, and is now "baying for their
blood." This makes the girls cling to each other in fear as lighting flashes
outside. Now that we've set up the mood, we'll cut to the next day.
We find Simran looking wistfully at a picture of her father, who looks a lot like the man from the very first scene that was setting fire to all the mannequins. She's so focused on it that she doesn't hear Rajan enter the room. He startles her and comments that she seems more sad than happy since she won the pageant. Simran tells him it's nothing, so he drops it. Rajan tells her that she needs to be ready for her party today. Simran wasn't aware of the party, so she asks what the occasion is. Rajan explains that he's having some people over to celebrate her recent conquest at the pageant. Without further ado, we cut right to said party.
Rajan has not only provided the guests and food, but he's also invited a dancing troupe to come and perform! They leap into a spirited performance of "Mein Albeli."

Things seem to be proceeding normally, and Sameer and Kunal even jump in with the dancers for a bit. After the song, we join Kajal and Simran as they look through the congratulatory bouquets and gifts. Most have cute little cards and messages, until they get to the serious one.
Kajal's
face drops as she reads, "I know everything about Ajit Khurana." There is more
though, telling them if they want to get all the facts they should meet at a
certain point at four that afternoon. Of course this is a good idea, so they do
just that.
At the hilltop specified in the message, we find our troubled foursome. They make it a point to state the blindingly obvious, and tell us that they wonder who could know about them, and that that's why they've come here to find out. Thanks, we'd nearly forgotten. This brilliant discussion is interrupted as a car pulls up to them. As they look on in anticipation, who should emerge but the shadowy character of Vikram!
Vikram marches over looking smug. He also reviews many of the events thus far - body in pool, suspicious cops, pool draineed, no body found. Thanks, we'd nearly forgotten. Vikram finally gets down to business - it was he that was responsible for moving the corpse!
When
he dove under the murky waters of the pool to get his keys, he did see the
corpse. He chose to be quiet about it, and recover the body on his own. When the
guys ask why he'd do that, Vikram tells them that he wants 2.5 million to keep
quiet, or else he'll turn the body over to the cops and tell them what he knows.
Sameer is angry about this and tries to threaten Vikram, but the others pull him off and agree to the demands. Vikram tells them to have the money ready by tomorrow, and gets back in his car.
Suddenly it is nighttime, and pouring rain. Vikram is on his way back to ... wherever he was going, and enjoying a nice beer in the meantime. He comes upon a broken down car in the middle of the road, blocking both lanes. Vikram stops the car and begins honking at the suspiciously familiar raincoat-clad figure that seems to be working on the engine. Look Vik, it's not like he can just move the car. Oh well. Vikram continues honking and shouting for them to move their vehicle.
