Gokul offers up the month's worth of letters that he had Sunanda write as proof that she is still alive. He becomes very aggressive and grabs Mary's arms to pull her over to the floor where he's spread out the letters. Mary agrees that they are written in Sunanda's handwriting, and therefore are conclusive evidence that she is alive (whatever). He accuses Naina of trying to set him up and the cops let him go.

Naina talks to the police afterwards. She's a little amazed that they would let him go despite her knowing he killed her sister and having stopped him from killing another girl. The ACP tries to explain to her that it's just not that easy to take her word for it when Gokul has clearly made some plans (such as they are) to cover his tracks. Rupert (we learn here is name is Dubey, but I prefer Rupert) says that he has an idea, but it may be considered a little unorthodox. He says that he'll take Gokul back to his village under the guise of an enquiry, then kill him and make it look like he was involved in an incident. I'll admit, it takes a lot of guts or a total lack of brain to say this to your boss. The ACP is not amused, and tells him that he'll deal with Rupert later. Naina refuses a ride home, and says that she understands now that the police are powerless to help her. She vows not to come back to them again and storms out.

As she rides her bike home she approaches a parked car. Gokul lies in wait for her. As she is passing the car, he opens the door and knocks her off of her bike. He grabs her and throws her in the truck vowing to put her in such a condition that even the cops won't recognize her. He speeds off down the road as Naina frantically searches for a way to escape the trunk.

Naina finds the tire iron and uses it to knock one of the taillights off the car. Her timing is impeccable since they happened to be passing two motorcycle cops when the light hits the ground. As many foiled drug runners and bank robbers know, the best way to get caught by the cops during a getaway is problems with your taillights. Sure enough, the cops give chase and Gokul panics. In his carelessness he hits a large loose rock on the side of the road which sends his car flying. After quite the tumble, the car comes to a rest. Naina is looking a little rough but mostly unharmed. Gokul is sporting some nasty cuts oh his face and head.

Gokul staggers out of the wreck and goes to check on Naina. As he is about to open the trunk, he hears the police nearby and runs off. Naina pounds on the trunk lid from inside and calls out for a while but no one is around.

Suddenly we see her at Suraj's house. She bursts in the doors, surprising Bhim and Suraj. She flings herself onto Suraj and begins sobbing about what happened. We don't get to see how she got out of the car, or how she got to his place. Oh well.

Eventually Suraj gets her to calm down and rest. She has a nightmare about what happened and lurches up in bed. Suraj is waiting near the bed and rubbing his pistol with a rag. Bhim gives her some water then leaves the room so the grown-ups can talk. Naina starts putting herself down and wallows in self-pity. Suraj tells her to clean herself up and go home. He says a few other things that make Naina really angry, and he tells her that she doesn't need support from him - she should channel her anger and frustrattion into a fire to consume her sister's killer.

This sets into a strange training montage where Suraj tries to get Naina to toughen up. This includes running in circles while on a rope and carrying a board over her head. Really! Some of the more traditional training things are seen, such as the running through tires, swinging on ropes, etc. Then we see some weird ones. She opens a freestanding door.(?) She climbs up out of a large pipe.
