Suraj uses the "make them mad to make them work harder" technique whenever Naina gets tired. She eventually gets through the day's training.
While Suraj and Naina are doing their training, Gokul has his own routine. Over at his place, he is doing push-ups and shouting at the picture of Sonia from her newspaper clippings. He's drawn long hair on her and written "Naina" next to it. He pauses in his exercise once in a while to spit at the picture.
Back
at the police station the ACP is being called into a meeting. We see Gokul is
there with two rather severe looking women and the ACP's superior. The
chairperson for the local citizen's rights group (the woman on the right) has
taken up Gokul's case of harassment. She claims that he is being mistreated
because he is poor. The ACP isn't buying it though, and tells them all that
Gokul is really a dangerous man.
Ms. Chairperson asks if they judge men based on evidence or on personality. She informs them all that if they continue to cause problems in her area that her group will sit in protest in front of the police building. I'm not a legal expert, but I'm pretty sure the police can bring just about anyone in for questioning that they want provided they have a good reason. Seems to me that if they need to talk to him, they're allowed to. Oh well.
The ACP's boss tells him to knock it off and leave him alone. (!!) The ACP makes a good comment on how ironic it is that when the police do something to help, they are criticized. When the crime rates go up, the same people levy complaints about them for that. He salutes and leaves the room.
Later
that night Naina is out walking at a train station. She hears something behind
her and pauses to take a look around. Seeing nothing, she continues. Further
down the stairs, we see a reverse angle shot where an Ominous Shadow is now seen
walking behind her. She begins to freak out a little, but keeps going. She ducks
behind a corner and gets ready to fight.
The tension builds as a POV shot shows us getting closer to the corner that she stepped behind. She prepares herself, then whips around the corner and plants a kick right in the middle of the man's chest. Too bad it isn't Gokul though! She apologizes to the stranger that she just knocked down and he runs away from her with a lot of "damn fool kids!" remarks. As she resumes her walk home, she realizes what she did and gets a smug grin on her face.
She calls Suraj from her bedroom to describe her night of pummeling innocent bank officers. Suraj seems amused by this and has a good laugh. He tells her not to get too cocky though since she has a long way to go. He tells her to report in for more training the next morning at 6am.
As
the sun rises, Suraj is pounding on a punching bag and looking pissed. A shot of
the clock shows us the time is now 6:30, and Naina hasn't shown up yet. Soon she
comes bubbling in looking confident and happy. She steps into a lasso on the
floor and is yanked up into the air. She's confused and pissed now, and calls
out to Bhim to help her down.
Suraj cuts her down and throws her towards the wicker couch. He tells Bhim if he goes to help her up he'll throw him out. Suraj and Naina have a shouting match that most of us have heard before.
"What kind of training is this?!"
"You do things my way or I won't help you."
"I don't need your help anyway!"
That sort of thing. Naina goes outside to the obstacle course and starts running around on the equipment. She does the whole routine by herself while Suraj and Bhim go out shopping.
When they return home, Suraj goes to close the door behind him when he is kicked in the face, then the stomach, then knocked down. Bhim looks shocked until he sees who it is. Naina has now kicked her blind teacher's ass, and is proud of herself. Suraj being the tough guy he is thinks this is a hoot, and they decide to have a party to celebrate his student's success.
Now you can't have a party without music. Suraj plays the piano and sings while Bhim makes dinner. "Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do" is the selection for this evening. During this, Suraj has daydreams of a budding romance with Naina. Lots of scenes of them together in embraces and so forth follow as the two of them look thoughtful.
