Having completed our equivalent of the Tybalt and Mercutio storyline, it's time to get back to business. We find ourselves at Jai's HQ where Suraj is being read the riot act down in the cellar. Jai tells Suraj that he is not to leave under any circumstances while everything cools down. He tells Suraj that he's got things so worked up that he will likely be shot on sight if he were to leave the safety of the house. Jai pleads with Suraj to do as he says while he irons everything out. Jai leaves the cellar, instructing some of his men to guard the door and not let Suraj out.

Over at the Oberoi's, we see Oberoi and Sapna honoring the Raksha Bandhan holiday. Oberoi tells Sapna with some regret in his voice that this is the last year that he will come to Sapna's room for his rakhi. The next year, he will have to wait for her to come to him, since they won't be living together anymore. Sapna looks confused, but Oberoi isn't finished speaking., He tells her that he has arranged her marriage to the son of an associate of his. Having dropped this bomb, he leaves the room.

Sapna promptly goes to pieces. She begs Rama to do something about this, as she can't live without Suraj. Rama tries her best to comfort Sapna but there's little she can do to stop the hysteria. Somehow, across town, Suraj can hear Sapna's wailing and he shouts out of the cellar that he is coming for her. He then begins to (I swear I'm not making this up) hurl himself against the brick wall of the cellar over and over again until he smashes through to the outside. The guards outside the basement are a bit surprised to see Suraj leaving.

Enough of that, let's go over to Sapna's room. We see Sapna entering her room in darkness. She takes a few silent steps before she is suddenly startled sighting Suraj standing strangely still squarely in the middle of her room. Sapna looks angry instead of happy. She demands to know what he thinks he's doing there. Suraj explains that he has come to take her away from all of this. Sapna tells him that she doesn't want him to touch her, since his hands have now killed a man.

Suraj doesn't seem interested in taking no for an answer. He tells her that she loves him, but she disagrees. This goes back and forth a few times, but Sapna seems to be holding her resolve. She asks Suraj if he was thinking about what could happen to them when he killed Stabby. Suraj gives her an answer that I thought would only make things worse - he tells her that if he wasn't thinking of her, then he would have killed a lot more people. Sapna gets a cocky attitude with him, and says then he should go on out and kill whomever he chooses. She won't get in the way. Suraj asks her what was he supposed to do? Those men killed his friend Raghu. Sapna reacts to this, as apparently this fact was omitted from the report she had been given.

Suraj says that Raghu died in front of him, in his arms. Those same hands then killed the man who murdered Raghu. Now those same hands want to hold Sapna. This was apparently the magic phrase, since Sapna instantly forgives Suraj and rushes over to him. (Hey, it's worked in other places, so why not here?) She kisses his hands and holds him tight, asking why this is happening to them.

Suraj explains that everyone else in the world is filled with hate, so he's come to take her away to someplace where they can be at peace in their love for each other. Sapna asks if this place really exists, and Suraj assures her that it does. Sapna asks him to take her there at once.

Rama bursts into the room and demands to know what Suraj thinks he's doing there. He says that he's come to take Sapna away. Sapna echoes his sentiments. Rama tells them they are crazy, and if Oberoi ever catches them he'll chop them both into pieces. Sapna says that since she can't live without Suraj, then she's dead either way. Touché!
