Rama is still working off a good supply of steam, so she demands to know how they propose to live together. They can't live off love alone (echoes of Sony and Cher!)! Suraj asks her how she's liked living without love in her life, which stops her arguments. She staggers back in tears, realizing how Suraj has a point. She tearfully commands them to get a move on, before Oberoi pops in and starts killing everyone he sees.

Sapna is worried about Rama, since she's not really sure what has just happened. She goes to give Rama a goodbye hug, and Rama looks up to Suraj. She tells him to promise her that he will look after Sapna and cherish her life as if it were his own. He has no qualms about this plan, and readily agrees with her wishes.

We have an abrupt jump cut to Oberoi slapping Rama in the face. He asks her if she wanted revenge for what happened to her way back when, why did she choose to go through his sister to get it? Rama asks him if he thinks the life he was offering Sapna was all that great. Furious, he tells her that he loved her with all of his heart. Rama flies off the handle and tells him that he's a liar. She claims that he knows nothing about love. He counters her argument by saying that he loved her so much that he betrayed his own best friend to have her.

Oberoi crosses over to a chair and sits down, but immediately gets back up again and tells Rama that he swears on love that he'll annihilate love (how's that work?). He vows to end this story in such a way that the listener will tremble. He marches into the camera, then we cut outside to see a phalanx of cars flowing out of the estate.

Over at Jai's place, we see that Jai has noticed the giant gaping hole that Suraj made as he smashed out of his basement (teehee, sorry, that was just too much). He asks the guys that were to be guarding Suraj how they could let him get away. They don't really answer. Instead they point out that they need to find Suraj and Sapna before Oberoi does, since they're pretty sure their chances of survival in that case are fairly slim.

We cut to the next morning. Up on a hillside rests a small lean-to, where Suraj and Sapna have apparently spent the night. Suraj suggests to Sapna that they "become one" before the bad guys find them. Sapna asks him how he proposes to do that, and he suggests that they kill themselves by drinking this bottle of poison he's got handy. He says that if they do this, their love will be immortalized and they will "win" over those who seek to separate them. He tells Sapna that when he first saw her, he had one wish - to live and die with her. Today, that wish comes true.

Suraj tilts his head back and takes a good belt off of the bottle. Sapna gasps and tells him not to, but alas it is too late! He drops to his knees, and with his remaining strength, he hands the bottle to Sapna. With a final heave, he plops onto the ground at her feet. Sapna shakes his head and tells him to get up, but there is no response.

Sapna has a moment of panic, then a stoic look crosses her face. She speaks to Suraj as if he could hear, and says that she agrees with him, and she will drink the poison too. She drains the remaining liquid from the bottle, and braces herself for the inky black abyss of death to overwhelm her. She waits a while, then notices that she's still capable of noticing things. She feels her face, and says to herself that it isn't working, and she's not dying. Sapna becomes flustered, and tells Suraj's inert form that he drank more than she did, and didn't leave her enough for a lethal dose.

Furious and feeling lost, Sapna berates Suraj for leaving her alone. She shakes his head and cries in anger and loss for what has happened, until she notices something strange. Suraj is laughing. Much to her surprise, Suraj sits up and asks her if anyone has ever died from drinking cough syrup?

I've decided that Suraj is a complete and total jerk, and Sapna should get herself back to town post-haste.
