The brothers are having a great time playing blindfold tag in the middle of the street, completely oblivious to the oncoming car. Suraj gives Jai a hug, and feels the pistol that Jai is still carrying. Jai comments on how that damn thing is always coming between them, and throws it off into the street. How responsible!

The gun lands in the path of the approaching Ominousmobile. It's not until the car is almost right on top of them that Suraj notices the man leaning out of the window (hey! It's Blowtorch Guy) with a machine gun! Bullets fly every where, but we're only worried about the four that hit Jai's back. Suraj runs over to the pistol that Jai had thrown, and opens fire on the car. He does do some damage to it, but it doesn't hurt anyone inside and the car speeds away.

Suraj runs back to his fallen brother, and carries him to a hospital. Once there, he barges into the emergency room and drops Jai on a gurney being pushed by an orderly. He is given some flak by the staff about his delivery of the patient. No one wants to treat him, as he is considered "a police case" and none of the paperwork has been presented. Fed up, Suraj grabs a sharp looking medical instrument from a tray and threatens a doctor to help Jai or else he'll get it in the neck.

We go to the OR where the surgeon "cures" the "gunshot wounds" by dabbing them with cotton balls. The doctor comes out into the hall afterwards and informs Suraj that the operation was successful, and wishes him the best of luck. Before you ask, no - the doctor, the nurses, the orderlies, hospital security - none of them take any sort of action on Suraj, even though he violated hospital protocol, and threatened a doctor with murder in front of at least a dozen witnesses. Just in case you were wondering.

The other members of Jai's gang are also waiting in the halls. Suraj marches towards them, and takes one of their guns. They all ask him what he's up to, but he doesn't say anything. The men stay behind as Suraj strides right into Oberoi's house where a large party is taking place. Some of Oberoi's security guards move to stop him, so they all get shot by Suraj. Suraj then confronts Oberoi directly, and asks him if he thinks that he'll be spared now that he's attacked Jai.

Suraj grabs Oberoi and puts the gun in his face. He pulls the trigger a few times, but he is out of bullets. No matter, as he tosses the gun aside and pulls out another one. As he readies to fire, Sapna comes downstairs and asks him what he thinks he's doing. Suraj tells her not to interfere, as he's only taking revenge for what has been done to his brother. Sapna tells him to stop all this, but Suraj says that they're not going to bother getting married now. He tells her that they'll never be left alone as long as Oberoi is alive.

Oberoi finally speaks up and says that he didn't arrange for the attack on Jai, but Suraj tells him to zip it. At that moment, the rest of Jai's gang shows up and a few people are shot, but it doesn't have much bearing on the story, so we'll move on! Sapna puts herself between Oberoi and Suraj's gun, telling him that if he kills her brother then she won't marry him.

Suraj lowers the gun in shock, asking her if he heard her right. He is horrified to learn that if Sapna had to choose, she would choose for her brother to live instead of being with Suraj. Suraj begins walking away, telling her that Jai was right - there is no such thing as love. There is only animosity. Sapna tries to stop him from going, but he tells her not to, and that he had forgotten that she was the sister of his enemy.

Suraj strides purposefully out of the room with the rest of Jai's gang falling into formation behind him. Before they leave, Suraj turns around and informs Oberoi that he was spared tonight because of his sister. Tonight, Jai had come there to end the animosity, but make no mistake - the animosity has only just begun!

I do believe that puts us back at Square One, doesn't it?
