As one might imagine, things are about to get a little out of hand. Jai shoots the traitor for trapping his brother, and Suraj speeds along towards the Oberoi's place. Dozens of guys with guns line the route outside of the house, waiting for the right signal to begin. Inside, Rama runs around the house looking for Sapna. She finally tracks her down and tells her what's happened. Somehow Rama knows about the whole plan, and Sapna realizes that Suraj is about to get killed. She runs outside to the main gate of the house to try and warn him.
She's
a little too late though, as Oberoi himself has perched on what looks like a
fire escape with a grenade launcher. As Suraj's Jeep rounds the corner, he
fires, causing the Jeep to flip over onto the driver's side. Oberoi watches for
any signs of life, and unfortunately (for him) he sees some. Suraj's hands creep
up onto the door, and he pulls himself up. At that moment Sapna makes it to the
gate and screams at him. She tells him to get away from the house, as there's a
trap waiting for him. Now, Suraj might not be a genius, but even he should have
guessed this by now. Anyway, Suraj's brain completely switches off, and all he
can do is scream Sapna's name over and over as he runs right towards the gate
like a total idiot.
Oberoi
sees that he's got a shot, so he fires again. He apparently hates Suraj's Jeep
with a passion, since that is what he blows up instead of the guy running right
at him with no cover at all. Oberoi shouldn't feel too bad though, as he's in
good company. All of the men stationed on the rooftops and balconies overlooking
the path to the house open fire, and every single one of them completely misses
their target. He's not even hiding behind things to get there, he's running
right down the middle of the alley completely in the open. Yet at least ten
guys with automatic weapons all miss.
Oberoi is seen making his way from his former post to a new vantage point as Sapna also races down the alley towards her love. They meet and embrace each other in the middle of the alley. After a moment of passionate hugging (yep!), Sapna remembers that they're standing in the killzone (well it would be if anyone could actually hit anything) and tells Suraj that he's got to get out of there. This whole thing was a trap set up by her brother to kill him! Suraj has become a complete simpleton, and all he can do is smile stupidly at her and play with her hair.
We
see Oberoi and his inept army regrouping for another "attack." Sapna tries again
and again to get Suraj to leave, but all he does is shush her and has another
hug. The men finally appear on a catwalk overhead, so Suraj finally does
something that makes a little sense and starts shooting at them. He picks off a
few before running out of bullets, leaving Oberoi and a couple other guys still
standing. They all aim to put the final shots into Suraj when Jai and his
cavalry come around the corner and open fire, causing Oberoi and his men to
scatter. Jai tells Suraj to take Sapna away from there while they finish this
up.
We have a few scenes of general mayhem as a wild gunfight erupts in the alleyway, with losses taken on both sides. Jai is dismayed to see that Suraj still hasn't left, and refuses to without Jai coming with him. Oh, and yes poor Sapna is stuck cowering behind Suraj as he runs around trying to shoot people.
Jai
decides that he'll get them out of harm's way, so he leads them around a corner
away from an exploding Volkswagen. As they make their move, we also get to see a
shot that should probably have been from another angle, as it clearly shows the
little "fire bar" things that are mounted to objects to make them appear to be
on fire attached to one of the other cars.
Jai keeps trying to get Suraj to take Sapna away from there, but Suraj tells him that today he needs to put an end to this war, and would rather do that than to run away with Sapna. Jai laments how his brother has changed, and is nearly killed by a few guys that pop up to take a shot at him. Suraj shoots them first, adding to the collection of poor stuntmen to meet their fates that day.
