Cut to Suraj and Sonia sitting the back of a Jeep. Suraj is asking her about the bangles she is wearing which leads to an argument. He grabs at them and eventually breaks them, scattering them on the road behind them. Durga is gathering some wood along the road as they pass. She picks up some of the broken pieces and sees the Jeep heading onto the grounds of the mansion and looks concerned.

Over at the train station we see the 3:05 arriving. Vijay and Johnny Lever get off and look around. The platform seems oddly deserted except for one man banging on a piece of metal to signal the boarding has begun. The men head over to ask for directions to Durjan Singh's mansion, but the man is oddly captivated by Vijay's face. He doesn't answer any of their questions, and can only mumble, "This can't be true!" before running off.

The men hitch a ride on a wagon heading to the nearby village. They chat a little bit until they pass the mustard fields that we saw at the beginning of the film. Vijay starts to have flashbacks (black and white this time instead of negative!) of the fields he used to run through as Arjun. As they pass the ruined buildings on the edge of town, the flashbacks continue. He looks out over the quarry that he used to work in, and remarks to Johnny that he thinks he's been here before. He swears he used to work here moving boulders.

A man with a cart nearby overhears the conversation and confirms that indeed, many years ago there was a mine there. Vijay asks if there is a bangle shop nearby, and the man points him towards the large market not too far off. As Vijay looks at the stall selling the bangles, he recognizes the merchant, and can remember the conversation they had the day before he was attacked. Off in the distance he sees the temple to Kali, and goes off to see it.

As he enters the temple, the hanging bells are swinging around and making a racket. The priest comes out to see what's going on. He immediately recognizes Vijay as Arjun and tries to explain that he thinks Vijay is the reincarnated son of Durga. The priest tells him that this boon was asked for by his mother. He goes out to meet the woman whose prayers have been answered.

As he walks through the streets of the town, Durga is running like hell to get to him. They meet, triggering more flashbacks for Vijay. She tells him that she's looked for him for ages and is happy to have him back. The townspeople are astonished at what they're seeing. There isn't a dry eye in the house as they watch the reunion from a respectful distance.

From here on Vijay's Arjun again as far as I'm concerned, so please note the change! Arjun sees that Durga dropped her portrait of the boys. He recognizes Ajay's face as Durga asks if he has brought Karan with him. He tells her not to worry - if Arjun has returned, then surely Karan will as well.

We cut to the gates of the prison where Ajay is being transferred. Bindiya comes out to comfort him, and he tells her not to worry: He's only been sentenced for 6 months. He swears when he gets out of jail he will take care of Durjan's whole family. As he is being driven away Arjun shows up on his motorcycle. He asks Bindiya where they are taking him, and they give chase.

In a moment that is probably not very well thought out, Arjun shoots the driver in the face with a mini slingshot. The Jeep goes out of control, throwing Ajay and the remaining guards clear of the vehicle. The Jeep then hits a tree and explodes in a gigantic fireball, frying the driver. Ajay hops onto the bike with his friends and they drive off.
