So as to not get too far removed from the plot, we do see Arjun thinking of Sonia and the times they spent together in the hay loft. Having re-established that, Karan brings him out of his memories to finish jumping around. When they are all done, we check in with the recently vanquished Shamsher and Nahar who are reporting to Durjan.

Durjan doesn't buy their story of the boy's return. He claims they were drunk and didn't know what was going on. The guys insist there was no way they could make that mistake. They tell him that he should go ask the villagers if he doesn't believe them. So, off to town we go.

A large circle is formed around Durjan as he yells around for them to tell him where Karan and Arjun are hiding. All of the villagers claim to not know what they're talking about. They call Durga a mad woman that wanders from town to town raving about her sons, and they claim to have not seen her for months. The Accountant tells them they are making a huge mistake since he's seen the boys himself. He warns the crowd, as well as Durjan, that their return could be a threat to them and how they live.

As he is saying this, he notices two people on the roof of a nearby building. He recognizes them as Karan and Arjun and points to them to show Durjan. Of course, when they all turn to look they are gone. TA gets a slap for his "tomfoolery" and is sent off alone. This brings us to a very annoying "comic" scene with TA and Johnny Lever (it's revealed here that his name is actually "Latur," but Johnny Lever works just as well. He's the same character in every movie he's in). The short version is that he agrees to go before Durjan with TA and vouch that he too saw the boys in the village.

They go to the mansion and Johnny begins raving about the ranch he works at instead of what he said he would say. He's yelling most of it, and Sonia hears him in her room upstairs. She goes to the window and sees who it is and gets excited.

I must also point out the excellent photography in this scene. Most of it has Johnny half in shot, even while he's talking. I guess "framing a shot" is not on the requirements list to be a DP on this set.

Again, cutting to the chase to spare you many tragic moments of "comedy," Johnny ends up telling Durjan that the Karan and Arjun that he saw were characters on TV. As Durjan is smacking TA around for wasting his time, Johnny manages to throw a wadded up piece of paper up to Sonia on the second floor. Impressive, no? Anyway, they leave and Sonia begins to read the note. After some flowery poetry the message boils down to Arjun telling Sonia that he is in town and an escape plan is in the works.

We rejoin TA in town as he goes to Durga's house. He asks for the final word whether or not he's really seen the return of her sons. She shows him the boys sitting on a wall outside and he goes to meet them. He pledges his allegiance to their effort to bring down Durjan. They immediately take advantage of his knowledge and plan a strike.

We see there is a transaction taking place in a small camp in the desert. Durjan, Saxena, and most of their comrades are making a sale of weapons. They are about to leave when TA tells them to stay and watch the dancing act that he has arranged to come and perform. They have prepared "Rana Jee Maaf Karna" for their enjoyment. This one's a little different as it appears to be something of a debate between a group of older women and a group of younger women. The latter being led by Bindiya.
