Suraj, being the major ass that he is, taunts her hopes of her sons returning. He brags about how his father brutally killed them, then throws her to the ground. As she falls, she drops her framed picture of her sons. She scoots across the floor to get it when a pair of very shiny boots steps into frame, and brings one heel down on the picture to break the glass. She looks up to see Durjan as he laughs cruelly at her. She continues to scoot but he kicks the picture away from her. It stops in front of one of the brother-in-laws, who repeats the stomping process then boots the picture to the other brother-in-law. The men form a semicircle around her and taunt her by throwing funeral garlands at her, telling her to adorn the picture with them so she will believe they are dead.

They then go to the priest who has helpfully been standing back and doing nothing. Durjan tells the priest that his son is going overseas, and wants him to ask the Holy Mother for her blessing on Suraj. Durga asks how they can ask another mother for a blessing after tormenting another. She tells them that she will keep the garlands for their deaths, or else she is not worthy of her name. The men laugh at this, but she tells them again that her sons will return to avenge their deaths. They ask her how can the dead return to life? She tells them they will tear the earth and skies apart to come back! It's all very dramatic, but we don't get to see their reactions. We instead jump cut to what appears to be an "underground" fighting arena.

Here we see Ajay (who sure looks an awful lot like Karan!) in the middle of pummeling another guy. This fight goes on for a while and Ajay is taking quite a beating. However midway through the battle the Terminator theme starts to play again and revitalizes him. Eventually Ajay emerges as the victor much to the delight of the organizers of the fight. They tell Ajay that by defeating the current champion he is now the favored fighter at their tournaments and will make a lot of money.

We abruptly cut from the fight to another altercation. We see two men in suits being tossed out of a doorway onto the doorstep. A lovely young lady emerges calling them eunuchs and asks how they expect the younger of the two to marry her. She hits them with her shoe until they decide they'd better go.

As the jilted groom and his father stagger out into the street they run into Ajay. They ask him if Bindiya is indeed actually a woman. She runs them off and goes over to Ajay. She brags about how she's kicked out five prospective grooms that day, and offers her hand to Ajay. He brushes past her without speaking while she looks hurt. Bindiya's father comes out to ask why she keeps chasing after him when he appears to have no interest in her. She offers up one of the more incomprehensible answers I've heard. It seems when they were kids, Ajay had smacked her in the face. Somehow, that made her fall in love with him then, and she's wanted him ever since.

I guess there are some relationships out there that involve smacking, but that's a topic best left for another website.

Ajay continues on to his home. He walks in on his father taking a drink from a bottle. He looks guilty and hides it behind him, claiming that it's medicine he's taking. Ajay snatches the bottle from him and sniffs it. He's disgusted to find his father's been putting liquor into medicine bottles and sneaking booze. He lectures him on how he fights hard to win money to take care of him, but instead he finds him drinking his life away. Ajay tells him he had better change his ways before it is too late.

Much to his father's dismay, he then hurls the bottle at the wall where it shatters nicely. It also blends a bit with the jump cut of a different bottle on a fence post that has been hit with a rock from a slingshot.

For the next minute or so we see nothing but shots of a horse galloping around spliced between shots of bottles being shattered. We eventually see the rider's face, and wouldn't you know it he looks exactly like Arjun. This time around, we'll call him Vijay.
