Sonia
walks off as giddy as a schoolgirl while Saxena looks confused as to what just
happened. His thoughts are interrupted by a phone call from Durjan. They have
some obvious exposition dialog where we learn that Sonia is going to marry
Suraj. Suraj is expected to return from London soon, and it will all be taken
care of then.
Durjan then turns the topic to business. He tells Saxena that he has still not paid for "the goods," and he's getting tired of waiting. Saxena explains that the person he delivered "the goods" to hasn't paid him yet, and he's reluctant to force the issue since the customer is dangerous. Durjan happily tells Saxena that when it comes to business he's got no problem killing friends that don't pay up. He gives Saxena a week to come up with the money.
The Jeep comes to a halt in the middle of the road. Durjan asks why they stopped, and they point out that Durga is standing in the street and scowling at them. Durjan isn't afraid of her and tells them to run her over. The Jeep revs up and starts speeding down the road towards Durga. At the last moment, another villager comes to her rescue and pulls her out of the way. He asks her why she confronts them like that, and all she can say is that she cannot be destroyed until she has her revenge.
That
night we see Vijay as he sleeps. He begins to mumble, "Mother" as he dreams. We
see several black and white images of places and things he did in his previous
life, like the mustard fields near his home, and the bangles that he bought for
Durga. Eventually he is awakened by Johnny Lever to see why Vijay is talking in
his sleep. Vijay explains what he saw, and that he knows these images are
important. He can't figure out why though. He also heard a voice calling out,
"Run, Arjun! Run!"
We
jump from Vijay's place to a hospital where Bindiya is telling Ajay that his
father was brought in for vomiting blood. The doctor comes over to explain
what's been happening. He's decided that his father's continued heavy drinking
has destroyed his liver, and he'll need to have surgery immediately. Ajay asks
how much the procedure will cost, and is pained to hear it'll run him 10,000
bucks. He tells the doctor to go ahead and perform the operation, and he'll get
the money.
We see Ajay in the fighting arena again trying to win the cash he needs. He tells the promoters that he will throw the fight. Since we're all idiots, one of the promoters explains to the other that since Ajay is the favored fighter, everyone will bet on him. So, if he loses and they bet on the other guy, they'll score a huge pile of cash. The fight begins and we see Saxena arrive at the arena. Saxena is confused as to why Ajay is getting his ass kicked since he's usually really tough.
The
fight goes on for quite a while as the Terminator theme begins to play loudly.
Ajay starts having negative image flashbacks to his previous life and is
reminded of how he was beaten and killed. He loses control and begins to fight
back, and eventually knocks the other guy out. The promoters are angry about
this but Ajay can't explain what happened. Saxena comes over to him and gives
him the 10,000 that he needs, and his business card. He tells Ajay to go and
save his father, they'll work out the details later.
Ajay rushes to the hospital, but the operation wasn't enough to save his father. Ajay pays his respects, then goes to see Saxena at his home the next day.
