After the rest, it's back to the vehicles. Another short driving montage brings us up to another attempt for Shekhar to impress Mahalaxmi. She has dozed off in the passenger seat, and Shekhar wakes her up. He tells her when the passengers fall asleep, it makes the driver tired too. He drones on for a while about how lots of buildings have the same name she does (boring her, and most of us). Suddenly there is a large burst of smoke across the road. The cops prepare themselves for a fight, but it is only a movie being filmed off to the side of the road. Shekhar tells Mahalaxmi that he wishes life were like the movies, then proceeds to have a daydream about singing to her. This leads us to our next song, "Dil Dooba." It's pretty catchy.

Yes, the color looks a little off. They did some digital work on the movie here, and distorted it on purpose. Why exactly, I'm not sure. Perhaps it's to suggest this is a daydream. No matter, we've got Aishwarya to admire. They seem to have a good time here. As they're singing the other people around them act as a film crew that makes lots of mistakes, with random explosions and people falling off of things.
When he comes out of his reverie, we see that there is a large group of cars and people that have stopped on the road. As they draw closer, we can see that a truck has turned over onto its side. From the looks of things it will be several hours before the mess can be sorted out. Ghorpade suggests a smaller side road they can take that rejoins the major road after a few kilometers. Anant agrees to the idea, and they head off onto a small dirt path.
How
he can tell there's a road there is beyond me. This is some rough driving.
Unfortunately it doesn't stay clear for very long. The group runs into a large
caravan of farmers and cattle that are milling about haphazardly and causing
almost as bad of a blockage as the truck accident did. They slowly creep through
the crowd, honking the horn and shouting at the people to clear the road, but
most of them can't even hear them over all the noise. Ashwin and Ghorpade get
out and start herding the people and cows out of the way. However, the large van
gets caught behind some cows and the Jeep gets ahead of them. Anant gets out of
the van and begins pushing the crowd out of the way. As he does this, we get a
crash zoom in on someone that looks vaguely familiar. Angre watches the
commotion from a distance, and has disguised himself with a moustache, turban,
and a big pair of sunglasses.
Anant's
phone rings, and he answers it. Angre speaks to him, and comments on how bad of
a situation he's found himself in. Anant looks around to see who's talking to
him, and Angre makes additional taunts, asking him who he's looking for. A cloud
of dust kicks up near Angre and he begins coughing. Anant notices him from far
away, and draws his revolver. He calls back to Mhatre to keep an eye on Ansari,
then begins running towards Angre. He (surprisingly) takes a few shots at him as
he moves, hitting several of the carts in the crowd.
Ashwin and Shekhar hear the shots and notice the chase. Ashwin takes off on foot to try and intercept the perp. Shekhar drags Mahalaxmi out of the Jeep and takes her to the van. He loads her into the back with Ansari and Khamlesh, then climbs onto the roof of the van to get a clear view. He pounds on the roof to get Mhatre to begin moving in the direction of the chase.
Meanwhile Angre is performing some pretty impressive moves while attempting to escape. Lots of jumping over obstacles and ducking under things to avoid the periodic bullets that are flying at him. He tucks and rolls under some cattle, then pulls up the ring in the ground they were tied to. He draws a pistol of his own and shoots at the ground in front of the cows to get them running towards Anant. One of the farmers ends up getting gored by one of of the bulls, and Anant leaps over his body before he trips over him.
