They
hooded figures start shooting upwards and moving towards the front of the
courtroom. When they are asked what they want, one of them replies, "justice."
Off comes the hood and to no one's surprise it's Ballu. Well I guess the court
people are surprised but I doubt anyone watching the movie is.
Ballu swears on his mother (who is there, sorry forgot to add that) that Ganga is pure and loyal to Ram the whole time they were together. He also adds that he was responsible for every allegation that had been leveled at Ganga. He begs the court not to separate Ram and Ganga, and to punish him in any way they see fit. He then lays his gun at Ram's feet, and gets a big hug and round of applause.
I have to agree with the guys at Stomp Tokyo here. There's no chance that a known cop killer and assassin of Ballu's caliber would ever get applause from anyone involved with law enforcement. Sure it's a movie, and hasn't been exactly realistic up to this point, but this is asking just a little too much.
Also,
I'm not sure how this waives Ganga's charge of preventing the cops from
arresting Ballu earlier. The judge did say she'd committed legal and moral
crimes. This might have covered the moral ones, but... ah well. Just a movie!
As Ballu is being led away, he passes I.G. Pandey. He vows that on the 10th of October at 10pm he'll escape from prison again! But he doesn't know which year. Big laughs are had by all and he's packed into the van. The van drives off with Arti watching solemnly.
Cut to credits!
