Now that we are all refreshed from our intermission, we'll get right back to it. We see some of Ballu's gangland buddies talking on the phone about how all of Ballu's former cronies are eager to see him again, and how he's going to be super rich. That being established, we cut to Ganga who is being held captive in a mansion with the Hoodlums. She's refusing to eat what they've brought her, and swears that she'd rather die than take food from her captors. Ballu claims he knows what will make her eat, so they bust out the costumes and sing!

They put on a mock performance of the earlier song, "Choli Ke Peechhe." As one can imagine, it doesn't quite have the same impact being sung by the members of the Hoodlums as it did when Ganga and Champa did it. It's still pretty funny though.

Ganga is not amused by the taunt, and eventually ends up slapping one of the guys after he grabs her shoulder. This puts a sudden stop to the festivities. Ballu loses some of his charm here as he grabs Ganga by the neck and holds her against a wall. He asks her if signs of friendship make a man weak (?), then tells her that he's not going to kill her. He takes out a razor blade, and describes a very unpleasant surgical procedure that he will do to her, then let her go home with a ruined face.

This finally shocks Ganga into complying with Ballu's wishes.

We see Ram in his home, looking at pictures of Ganga and hitting the bottle. He gets a phone call from Roshan who is demanding that the few guys the cops did capture be released, or else he will make Ram's life miserable. Ram calls him a chicken for threatening him over the phone instead of showing up in person. Roshan hangs up on Ram in the middle of a big rant. Ram continues to shout into the disconnected phone for a while and then starts tossing his own furniture around (?).

When he calms down, he sees that some of his detectives have arrived. They've located Ballu's mother, and have brought her in for an interview. Ram isn't interested until he sees her picture. There's a lot of dramatic music as we see Ram recognizes Arti.

We find ourselves at the police station where it's oddly dark in the hallways. I'm thinking this is to facilitate the dramatic lightning flashes that are going off every thirty seconds or so as our heroes stride through the halls in a determined fashion. As they approach the room where Arti is being held, we hear someone yelling at her and her whimpering. We see that one of the cops has his "stick of the law" held against her neck as he shouts into her face. Ram watches this for a moment, then bursts in to put a stop to it. He tells everyone that she'll be living with him, and not staying in the station.

We now go to Ram's house where he's talking to Arti. He shows her a picture of herself and a group of young boys in a class photo from school. She used to be a teacher a long time ago. Also featured in the picture is Ballu, probably about eight or nine years old. Ram points out another student named Babla, and tells her that he is that student. He explains that when he finished school he moved to the city and became a cop, and changed his name. The plot thickens!

Arti looks happy for the first time, and realizes that Ram isn't trying to kill Ballu (although from some of the fights we've seen, I'm not too sure about that) but instead really wants to help him get back on the straight and narrow.

We cut to the Hoodlums' exposition officer who is talking to someone over a walkie-talkie. He explains that Ballu is going to be moving through a village where elections are being held. He's wearing the cop uniform again to hopefully not draw attention to himself. We are shown that this is not your normal election - people are being beaten up for voting for the "wrong" candidate, and there's a lot of chaos. A few of the villagers come up to Ballu and explain what's going on and ask him to step in and put a stop to the vote tampering and beatings. Ballu isn't interested in helping, and tells Ganga they're going to just keep going.

As they drive through the town, a woman comes running up in front of the Jeep and begs for them to help. Ballu tries to slow down but ends up hitting her anyway. This event is completely ignored for the rest of the scene. Seriously! Other people run over now that he's stopped and we start up with the whole, "You've got to do something!" campaign again. The crooks get involved this time, and tell Ballu the cops were paid off to leave town for two hours. They shove Ballu to the ground, and Ganga chastises them for hitting a cop. They then push her around a little, which finally pisses Ballu off to the point of doing something.
