Once everyone has met Disha, Talli asks Shanti if she's going to invite Disha to her engagement party that evening. Shanti is more than willing to have Disha come along, and it looks like they're all set for a fun-filled evening. We cut immediately to the party where things are already underway. A bunch of people we don't know are all dancing around and having a merry time, but someone we can assume are one of the couples' parents seems frustrated that the guests of honor haven't made an appearance yet.

We see that Talli has found them, and interrupts a near-smooching moment. Shanti doesn't see why Manav would refrain from planting one on her in front of Talli, since they are about to be wed and everything. She then teases Talli about some of the movies he goes to see (she specifically mentions one called "Reshma's Burning Desires") and that he can probably handle seeing something like that. They have a cute little funny moment before going to join the party.

Out in the main room, they go through the giving of the engagement rings as the crowd looks on and applauds. Just as Manav gets his ring, the camera does a rack-focus to reveal Disha in the background, arriving stylishly late to the proceedings. The dancing starts up again as Talli fights his way through the crowds of revelers to get to Disha. She walks right by him though, and greets Manav. She offers him a small arrangement of flowers and her congratulations. As she shakes his hand, she looks down to see instead of the young and living hand of Manav, that she is actually shaking a withered and dead hand! She looks up in horror to Manav's (normal) face, then back down to the hand. Now it looks like it should, but she still lets go in a hurry. She looks out into the room to see if anyone else noticed her reaction, but everyone seems oblivious to her little hallucination. Manav asks her what happened and she tells him it was nothing, although we can all see she is visibly shaken by what happened.

Talli finally reaches Disha, and invites both of them to dance. Manav distances himself a little, and doesn't go out onto the main dance floor. Disha is practically pushed out into the midst of things and does her best to play along. An odd noise begins to creep over the music, as both Manav and Disha look around with inquisitive expressions on their faces. It's an odd, creaking sound, like old wood beginning to buckle under a heavy strain. Soon this is all we can hear, drowning out the music and the laughter of the guests. Seemingly without knowing why, Manav runs out into the middle of the dance floor and tackles Disha, just as the huge glass chandelier smashes into the floor where Disha had been standing. The two of them look at the wreckage and realize that while they did avert a messy death, something weird has also happened here.

Some time later, we see Disha sitting by herself and staring into space with tears on her cheeks. One of the guests sees that she's still upset, and tells her that the kids will take her home. So, that's just what they do. We cut to a carload of youngsters cruising into a tunnel and not saying much. Akshay passes the time by whistling a happy tune, but all it does is annoy everyone else in the car. He asks the rest of them if they're all mourning the soul of that poor chandelier, making Nupur laugh, but no one else seems to enjoy the joke. Akshay gives up on the rest of the people, and starts talking to Talli. He says that it's too bad Talli wasn't the one to rescue Disha, since that would have practically guaranteed he could get married to her since he saved her life. Talli thinks that is indeed an opportunity missed, but Akshay says that the chance could come again. He just needs to keep a close watch on Disha any time she walks under any dangling lighting fixtures. This leads to some spirited conversation about the odds of such a thing happening, giving Nupur a chance to make a slip and confess that she has her hopes set on Kabir not falling on any other women (it's true, it's a bit of a reach).

They all have a good laugh at Nupur's little "oops" until Disha screams out Kabir's name as it seems they are about to smash into a wall of ice that is blocking the exit to the tunnel!
