We jump to a car pulling up outside of Kittu's house. Niki is on the front patio watering plants as Nisha pops out of the car and storms over. Niki can tell that Nisha's pissed off, and asks what's up. Nisha goes off about how Kittu is consumed with Mallika 24/7. Niki tells Nisha that Nisha is just as much at fault as Kittu is for their fights. If she's got a problem with Kittu she needs to tell him about it instead of griping at Niki.

This wasn't the advice Nisha was expecting. Niki calls her a "coward of the first order," and that if she had any guts she would tell Kittu how she really felt. She says that she should just go up to Kittu and say that she loves him. To work up her nerve, Nisha starts rehearsing over and over how she's going to say it. Of course while she's doing this, Kittu rides by and says he loves her too. They all freak out, but one gets the sense that Kittu was only playing along.

This suspicion is furthered by the next scene, where Kittu is once again talking to his poster. This time he imagines Mallika coming out of the poster to take him in with her, and they have a big ballroom dance scene on what appears to be the polar ice cap. This goes on for several minutes until Niki finally interrupts him by opening the door. He's all excited about what just "happened" (did I mention that he comes across a little unbalanced here?) and proceeds to tell Niki about his hallucination. He gets mad at her for breaking his reverie, and leaves the room. Niki has this great look on her face as she sits there on the bed, realizing just how far gone her brother really is.

Out of concern for him, she goes out to mention this last episode to their father. He gets fed up with the whole mess, and goes on a rampage through Kittu's room, tearing down all his pictures and posters in an attempt to snap Kittu back to Earth. Kittu is pretty mad about this, and leaves the house in a huff, taking the remains of his favorite poster with him.

We next see scenes at a train station. We cut to the outside, where Kittu is trying to hire Self-Proclaimed Handsome Rickshaw Driver to take him to Mallika's house. SPHRD asks a bunch of questions, and eventually gets the whole story. He tries to talk Kittu down from his place in the clouds by telling him he's seen many try this before, all to have their hopes dashed. In fact, he himself had done something similar, only to find out that the object of his affection had married someone before he could get to them. He agrees to take Kittu to Mallika's house, after making him promise that he'll give up his fool's dream and go home after he has seen her once.

He is stopped by the security guard at the front gate who merrily sends him on his way. Kittu is then hassled by some guys at the little shop just down the road. They put him through some abuse before it's broken up by Usmaan Bhai, the proprietor of the U-Turn shop. I thought the sign for this place was a hoot. Check it out:
