We next see Kittu talking with the guys from the U-Turn. Usmaan tells him that Mallika is basically a prisoner in her own home due to the strict rules that her uncle has placed upon her. She obeys because she feels she owes them for taking care of her after her parents died.

A little later, Kittu is on his own, looking up at one of the windows in Mallika's house. He can see silhouettes of people inside, and it's clear they are arguing. He sees Toluram apparently hitting Mallika, so he jumps over the outer wall and climbs up to her window. He can now hear what's going on. Toluram is yelling at Mallika for, as he puts it "refusing to sign" some contracts or whatever. Of course, Mallika didn't refuse, she just hasn't signed them and is trying to explain when he starts whipping her with his belt again. Kittu runs in and cracks Toluram on the head with a flowerpot. Toluram takes a short power nap during the following conversation.

Mallika looks more than a little surprised to see Kittu. She asks what he is doing there, and he explains that he couldn't stand to see him hitting her. I think a better explanation would also include why he was looking in her window, but no time for that! She tells him he's got to go, or else Toluram will kill him when he wakes up. He asks what's going to happen to her. She says she's likely to catch Hell too. He talks her into fleeing with him, and getting far away from the people that are mistreating her. She decides that's better than being beaten up, so she climbs out the window with Kittu.

The next morning, there is a huge crowd of people outside Mallika's house. Reporters, police, EMTs, and so on. The police are talking to Toluram about the apparent kidnapping. Toluram puts on a huge show of misery about what's happened to him, and lies about Mallika crying out to him to save her. He swears that if the police haven't returned her in 24 hours, he will publicly immolate himself. I guess that's motivation, but not the first thing I would have thought of.

We cut to the inside of the U-Turn, where they're all acting sneaky. They've closed up the shop due to the missing person hiding in the back room with Kittu. Usmaan gives them some clothes and money to get out of town. The police come to the door to conduct a search, and we have a few minutes of comedy while Usmaan and the gang try to keep the detective distracted from the back room. When he finally does go into the back our heroes have escaped and he finds nothing.

They flag down a rickshaw to get to the train station. You would be correct if you assumed that our friend the Self-Proclaimed Handsome Rickshaw Driver was the pilot of the craft. They have a chat about him going home, and he introduces Mallika as Merunisa to not give her away.

They board the train, and Mallika gets the giggles. We basically have one of those, "This is so unreal, just like a movie!" kind of speeches from her as they reflect on the events of the past few hours. Well, the first stop on the train ride is a song! We see them dancing around on the tops of various vehicles as they belt out "Ruki Ruki." We have subtitles on this one, so we can see it's about getting your life rolling again after being stuck in a rut.

Once all the frivolity is done, we see that we've arrived back at the home of Kittu's parents. Kittu is a little hesitant to let on that he's got a movie star staying with him, so we begin a complicated ruse of hiding Mallika in Kittu's bedroom. Of course this plan will be well thought-out and rational, just like all of Kittu's other plans!
