Aditya
isn't quite done telling the story. As Sanjana softly weeps, he goes on to tell
how he and Robert worked together to conceal the death, and they buried Malini's
body in the forest. As he tells us this, we see the tools they used to do this,
including the shovel with the stain on the handle. He says they did it to
protect everyone involved from the scandal that would have erupted. We see them
laying the body in the woods at the spot where Nisha attacked Rohit, and then he
throws the pistol off into the woods. Nice job of getting rid of the evidence,
Aditya.
He tells her that he did it all because he couldn't imagine a life without Sanjana since he loves her so much. Sanjana says she should applaud this performance, since it doesn't seem like someone who loves her so much could have such a lively affair behind her back, in her very own bed. She asks him if he really expects her to forgive him for all that he's done. He does ask her to, but she tells him that's not going to happen.
She brings up how she suffered beside him all those days while he carried on, not caring how hurt she was. Even now, when the screams and visions of the adulterer that he concealed are actively haunting her and causing her to suffer, he still lied and said it was nothing. She tells him flat out that she can never forgive someone who lied to her like he has. Aditya stares at her for a moment, then walks past her out of the room. As he stands alone in the living room, our last musical number starts up. "Kitna Pyara Hai" is more of a montage than the song and dance we're used to, so we just listen as we watch Sanjana pack up her things and leave the cottage.

We rejoin Sanjana as she meets with Priya and tells her the whole messy story. Priya is furious with Aditya, and says that she never imagined that he could do such a despicable thing to her. She says that Sanjana should never ever go back to him. This is when we notice that Agni is also in the room, leaning dramatically in the back-lit door frame. He screams across the room that her abandoning Aditya is the biggest mistake she could make. He says this is just what Malini wanted. She arranged it all - calling Sanjana to Ooty, haunting her, then revealing the sordid details of Aditya's infidelity to her. This is all to make Sanjana hate Aditya, and leave him forever, just like Malini wanted.
Agni
explains that a devoted wife is like a shield for her husband. Malini was smart
enough to separate them, leaving Aditya defenseless against her. Agni says that
even if Sanjana doesn't go back to Aditya as his wife, she must at least go back
as a human being until they can defeat Malini's spirit. He adds that Malini
can't take Aditya away since she is dead, so she will have to kill him to keep
his spirit with her forever.
We cut to the cottage where Sanjana is angrily explaining things to Aditya. She makes it crystal clear that she isn't there to work on their relationship - that's over. She is merely there to save his life. Once that has been done, they are going their separate ways for good. She barks an order at the maid to get Aditya's bags, and they are leaving for Bombay immediately. We see them leaving the house and getting into the car. They drive off without another word.
The camera lingers on the shot of the area where the car was parked, and we see another car pull up. Sanjana gets out of this car and heads up into the house. Wait a minute! Then who was that...
Sanjana
calls to the maid and asks where Aditya is. The maid looks rightly confused.
Sanjana becomes angry and asks her what she's staring at. The poor maid says
that she doesn't understand why she's asking her this, since she just saw Aditya
leave with Sanjana a few moments ago. Realization sets in for Agni and he tells
them that the endgame is afoot.
We see Aditya's car speeding along a road next to a rocky cliff. He repeatedly asks Sanjana - or who he thinks is Sanjana - to look at him. She keeps her face to her window and says nothing. This goes on for a while until she finally turns her face towards him, revealing a rotten and decayed mess on her face. Aditya screams out a lovely curse word (in English, so we all can enjoy without subtitles) and loses control of the car. It flips end over end down the cliff and lands in a tiny crumpled mess.
We cut to the same hospital that Nisha was kept in as we watch the doctors working on Aditya. After seeing the car, I'd think that he'd need a mortician and not a surgeon, but somehow he doesn't look too beaten up.
