Sanjana is brought out of her memories by the sound of Aditya putting down some luggage. He moves close to her and tries to be a little affectionate, but she doesn't reciprocate. He asks her what she's thinking about, and she simply says "nothing." Sanjana then goes off to change her clothes, leaving Aditya there to look a little disappointed. That evening we see the two of them in bed. Sanjana is wide awake and staring right into the camera. Aditya is sound asleep, and is holding her hand. Sanjana decides to get up for a bit, and puts on a robe. She looks out of their bedroom window into the trees.

Sanjana doesn't seem too worried about the gleaming blue light radiating from the woods, and simply smiles at the outdoors. She notices a thin beam of light coming through a gap in the window frame, and playfully puts her finger over it to block it a few times. Then in an odd moment, she tucks her hair behind her ear and lets the light shine directly into her ear. The camera adjusts to show us the point of view of the beam of light, and we push in through the gap and into her ear. Once again, she hears the wicked sounding voice whispering her name.

Sanjana is frightened by this, and finally seems to think that the blue light is scary after all. After staring into the trees for a minute, she hears the animal/human combo scream. She flings open the doors to the cottage and steps outside. Yep, scared, alone, and in her bathrobe, she goes outside to see what could be making that horrible screaming sound and whispering her name in the radiant glowing blue forest, far from help. Good plan.

Sanjana opens the gate and calls out to whatever is making the sound and demanding they identify themselves. All she gets in response are more screams. She decides that the only way to get to the bottom of this is to wander out into the trees. She plods along in the woods, shivering and calling out to the noisemakers. She gets a few more screams out of the mist before she is scared out of her wits by Aditya, who has noticed that his wife is not sleeping next to him, but is instead wandering in the trees doing her best to look like a monster snack.

Aditya tries to calm her down and find out what made her come out here to begin with. Sanjana is too shaken up to talk here, so they go back inside and light a fire. Sanjana stands next to the fireplace and wraps herself in a blanket. She tries to describe the sounds she heard to Aditya. She was so convinced that there was someone in terrible trouble out in the woods, and she wanted to help them.

Aditya patiently explains that he would love to help someone in trouble, but the problem in this case was that there was no one actually out there. Sanjana stands firm in her resolve, and says that she repeatedly heard these screams, and she doesn't care if he thinks she is crazy. He asks her the logical question - if this was a real person screaming real screams, then why didn't he hear them as well?

Sanjana takes the opportunity for a cheap shot and says that Aditya stopped realizing when people were suffering a long time ago. Sanjana then goes to the nightstand and reaches for her sleeping pills. Aditya snatches them away from her and says that they are the cause of all of her problems. He thinks they are also causing her to have these hallucinations. She claims that she can't go to sleep without them, but Aditya tells her to just stay awake then. He will stay up with her and they'll try to reduce her dependency on them. I thought that was a nice gesture, but Sanjana plays hardball. She says that there were many times when she needed to talk to him all night about problems, but he never had the time or would go to sleep without caring. Now, she can't do without her pills. She then takes two of them and runs out of the room.

The next day, we see Aditya at the Ooty branch of business offices of the hotel chain he manages. Aditya waits in the lobby as Priya comes in to give us an overly descriptive welcome to "the Managing Director of the Park Chain of Hotels, Mr. Aditya." She asks him if this is an inspection, but he says no - he needs the help of his friends.

They go into the offices of Ajay, so the three of them can talk in private. Ajay laments how they used to be the shining example of true love in Ooty, but now they're having such severe problems. Priya asks if there's been any sort of fooling around or other reason to have upset Sanjana this much, but Aditya says there hasn't been. Aditya says that he is to blame though, since he changed so much from what he used to be. He asks for their help in making his love for Sanjana the example of romance that it once was.

Ajay and Priya seems excited about this chance to help, and they assure Aditya that they can make this happen for him.
