Bela has heard enough by this point. She tells him the whole story - she's only there with RJ because Murli asked her to try and help him. He takes the news pretty hard. He asks her what Murli has that he doesn't. She explains that he doesn't live only for himself. Murli too was an orphan, but he sacrificed everything he had to help others. She tells him that Murli also thought she could help RJ, but he is still the same.

RJ bristles at this, and tells her to get lost. He also starts getting a little rough and pushes her around. He says some really, really mean things to her, comparing her to a prostitute. He thinks she used him to have a good time, ride around in fancy cars, wear expensive clothes, and live the good life only to run off with Murli when she was done. She defiantly tells him that she is not for sale, but he shoves her towards the door again. She turns back, spits at his feet, then leaves.

After she is gone, RJ begins tormenting himself about having abused her. He breaks his glass table with his hands and makes a truly horrifying sound. He kneels on the floor and asks the heavens why they are punishing him.

The next day, Murli is out in front of the orphanage holding a press conference. He tells the reporters that the newspapers were responsible for spreading the lies about him. He says that all the papers are interested in are violence and power. The reporters say that they are only telling what is happening in society. Murli is furious at this idea. He tells them the only news they print is the kind that highlights the worst parts of life. He asks why they never cover good news!

One of the reporters in the gathering is the same one that watched the boys scalping tickets outside the movie theater. He asks isn't it true that two boys from this orphanage were involved in Baweja's murder. He says he'll answer that when he has some answers of his own. Such as, on what grounds was Baweja given the rights to the land in the first place? Also, why wasn't legal action brought against Chewte when everyone witnessed him shooting a youngster? Also, why did Bhau give RJ so much money? He tells the crowd he's not going anywhere until he gets some answers.

Over at Bhau's, Tech is watching the news with RJ and Bhau. He angrily turns off the TV when Murli is done with his speech. He is so angry, that he causes the film to slip off the reel and go completely funky for a few seconds. I didn't doctor that image on the left at all.

Once the film is back in frame, Tech says they have to silence Murli before he causes them any major trouble. RJ tells him to stay away from Murli or he'll have to answer to him. Bhau says that several high-powered legislators have already met with Murli and assure him that Murli does have the proof he needs to get them all in a lot of trouble.

Tech wonders how he got evidence to use against them. He accuses RJ of turning the papers he took from Tech's safe over to Murli. RJ says that he still has them in his possession. Bhau asks him to give them back to him for safety. He also suggests that RJ talk to Murli to calm him down. He says he won't hear the screams of the innocent people amidst all the applause.

RJ says he will get the evidence, but he doesn't want any trouble for Murli. He says he'll take care of it. After he's gone, Bhau makes a phone call to someone he refers to as "Captain." He says that RJ is on his way, and they should blow up the whole area as he arrives. Tech then calls the police to get them to arrive at the same place to get blown up as well.

The evil men look proud of themselves. However, there is a problem. The door to the room outside opens and RJ does one of those cool rolls onto the floor. As he comes up he begins shooting all the guards. He never left at all! Crazy like a fox, that guy. After dispatching all the guards, he slowly approaches Technicolor. After a witty one-liner, he shoots him in the face. Tech lives long enough to do his trademark little whistle thing, then collapses.

Faces shot: 3

RJ then turns the gun on Bhau. Bhau begins praising RJ for taking Tech out of the picture (I'm doing that too). He also claims that he knew RJ was listening all along, and that's why he set up this elaborate ruse to get Tech killed. RJ doesn't look like he's buying it. Bhau offers to let him call "Captain" to verify he is telling the truth. As RJ reaches for the phone, Bhau hits his gun hand with the receiver and begins tussling (he used to be a wrestler, remember?).
