As they're walking Mili fills Munna in on how the mother's tantrums on the set caused Kamal to leave. He interrupts her as they pass an ice cream cart, and offers to buy her one. She declines the offer, which offends Munna. While he's in a snit, he takes a banana off another cart, and the owner demands that he pay for it. (Seems reasonable to me.) They have an argument about what one lousy banana is going to cost and that he's making a big deal out of nothing. Mili pays for the banana to shut everyone up and they continue home.

I wasn't sure what this scene had to do with anything. As far as I can tell it was only there to show that Munna has an odd sense of morals. Oh well, let's not dwell on it.

When they get to the house, Motilal is in the backyard bouncing a cricket ball on a bat. Munna offers to bowl him a few balls while Mili goes into the house. Inside, she relays the day's events to Mom. Mom seems amused by Munna's actions, and explains that for an orphan Munna really turned out all right. Oh! Didn't know the orphan part! Anyway, she says that despite his rough edges, he's a good guy. Mili remains unconvinced however.

Outside, Motilal hits the ball through one of the kitchen windows and makes a mess. He blames the whole thing on Munna, leading to a spastic chase/dance around Dad as he comes home. He tells Motilal to clean up the mess since he knows it was his fault.

Mom and Dad agree that they've had enough of this nonsense between the kids and tell them to knock it off. Munna says that he's leaving anyway to go to the movies. When Mili hears that he is going to see the new Kamal movie "Mr. Bond" (teehee) she gets excited and begs him to take her too. He makes her swear to be nice to him and to stop teasing him. When she agrees, he tells her she can go.

Over at Kamal's place, he's playing video games while TP gives him the sales figures on his latest movie. Kamal doesn't seem interested though, and keeps playing his game. Eventually TP gets the hint and starts to leave. As he's on his way out, Kamal asks about the actress that he's working with now. TP says that she confirmed the next day's call sheet, so he expects her to be there.

At the theater, Mili is rushing Munna along. She sees Pakiya selling tickets outside and is shocked that he'd be doing something illegal. Munna explains that both of Pakiya's parents are dead, and that he's trying to make money to pay for his sister's dowry. Mili is shocked and a little saddened by the story and says that she'd never have guessed from looking at him that he'd had such a tough life. Munna tells her (essentially) that you can't judge a book by its cover, and takes her into the theater.

Once inside, Munna immediately begins antagonizing the other patrons. He complains that it is too hot, and tells the other people to shut up when they tell him to sit down and be quiet. He props his feet up on the chair in front of him, disturbing the man sitting there. Yet another argument ensues. This time it gets physical, and Munna is thrown out of the theater.

Mili and Munna approach her house, with Munna asking why she's so mad. She tells him that he started that fight for no reason and ruined her being able to see the movie. The fight moves inside. Munna asks Dad if there is anything wrong with wanting to sit comfortably while at the movies. Mili says that paying for a ticket doesn't mean that you get to kick the people in front of you. Munna says that he didn't kick the guy - it was an accident that his foot touched him.

Munna then starts badmouthing the movie saying it was awful. Mili takes great offense at this and tells him to shut up. She slams the shutters on the window separating them, and he fakes an injured finger. She rushes in to see what happened and he goes back to teasing her. She finally lets it go, and everyone's smiling again. Whee!

We get a scene that just seems out of place completely here. Kamal is in his penthouse suite, looking out over the city. Someone walks onto the patio with him, and he muses about how beautiful everything looks. Then the scene ends. I guess this was to show that Kamal is kind of deep, but I had to think about this for awhile before arriving to that conclusion. Moving on!

The next day, Mili is practicing her dance by herself on a stage. Munna comes in, and she explains that once again, the leading lady pitched a fit and the filming for the day ended early. She was taking advantage of the free time to rehearse on a real stage. Munna says that he thought about what he did at the movie theater, and apologizes to her for making such a scene. He's bought tickets to the show today, and tells her he promises not to make a fuss this time.

He looks around and wonders what's so great about this place to practice. She runs off to turn on the lights and show him. This leads us to the next song, "Mangta Hai."

This starts out in the studio, but moves outside as Munna gets into the act. This is a pretty vague song, mostly amounting to saying what you want, and implying that it's each other. It changes settings and scenes a LOT, and varies from normal dancing to some surreal abstract stuff.
