We go from the audition to a bus stop where Munna is waiting. He impatiently fidgets and wanders around as a bus comes and goes. After repeatedly asking one of the people standing there what time it is, he finally sees Mili running through traffic and dodging cars. She tells him to shut his eyes. When he does so, she unfolds her first check from the movie in front of his face and tells him to open his eyes.

When he sees the check and hears the news, he is thrilled and begins dancing around with Mili and nearly gets hit by a car.

We next see Munna and Pakiya going to a tailors shop. Munna tells the guy there that he needs some clothes made in short order for his big night. He's planning to take Mili to a 5-star hotel for dinner, and to tell her that he wants to marry her.

Munna heads over to Mili's house and talks to her parents. They're excited about the news are are talking about getting a new bungalow. After a short while Mili comes out in a new dress. Munna stops dead in his tracks and stares at her. He tells her she looks ravishing, and she gets all blushy. The bad news is she's all dressed up to go to Kamal's party to celebrate the success of his "Mr. Bond" film, and not to go out with Munna. She takes off when the car arrives to take her, leaving Munna behind.

As the car pulls out of the driveway, Pakiya comes running in with Munna's new clothes. He tells Munna to go get changed for his big date, but Munna says for him to leave the clothes in his room. Pakiya is a little confused, but goes off to do what he asked.

At the party things are in full swing. We overhear lots of celebrity hobnobbing and so forth as we get a look around. Mili comes in and finds Kamal, but he doesn't have more than a few moments before he gets called over by someone else. Our friend Neeraj Vora (last seen as Usmaan Bhai in Mast, also with Urmila) wanders over and starts making himself out to be a film industry big-wig. He starts claiming to have gotten all these big names into movies, and how he was childhood friends with many other famous people. Mili looks very impressed until her amusement with his drunken rambling wears thin. TP comes over and basically tells the guy he's a fraud and has him thrown out.

Kamal comes over during all the commotion and takes Mili away from the noise. They go walking on the beach, and he asks her about her family. She tells him about her brother and how he acts like he isn't interested in her work but always looks for her on TV. When she asks him about his family, he looks thoughtful, and then avoids answering her by telling her it's late and they should go.

The next morning Mili is still awake and roaming the house. She excitedly tells her parents about the party and all the people she met. She hears a car outside and goes to see who it is. Munna is waiting for her with a cab, and he's wearing his new clothes. She begins laughing very hard when she sees him. His new threads are bright yellow, and they definitely stand out. He tells her it is his birthday and he wants to take her out.

They go to the hotel that he was planning to hit earlier. He walks in like he owns the place and starts bossing people around and acting "cool." When the waiter comes over, he speaks only English. Mili translates for him, and Munna orders a lot of Indian food. Mili explains they don't serve that kind of food in this restaurant and Munna gets irritated. He tells the waiter to bring whatever he thinks is good. He tells him to spare no expense because he's "loaded with dough."

After the waiter leaves, Munna starts talking about people they know who have recently gotten married. He mentions how happy they seem to be settled down, and thinks that he might do that too. He goes on like this for a while. Mili gets a little tired of his rambling and asks what he's getting at. As he continues to cover old ground, we see that Kamal has entered the hotel and is meeting some fans. Mili calls over to him and he smiles over at her.

Kamal comes over to visit. Mili introduces him to Munna, who has put his shades back on and acts like he isn't impressed. He does compliment Kamal on his fighting scenes. Kamal is at the hotel to meet with Kamalakar Rao, who is a famous director. He offers to introduce her to him, and she happily accepts. In a move that I thought rather rude, she tells Munna she'll be right back and heads off with Kamal. No... don't offer to let your lifetime friend come meet the famous director too! As they walk away, Munna makes the same face I'm making. The wait staff comes by with tons of food for them, but Munna's going solo for this one. As they depart the table, we see our Intermission card.
