Throughout the song, the two thieves are sort of competing and making little attempts towards the statue. Finally towards the end of the song, Seema simply asks the host if she can take the statue. He says sure, but is curious why she wants it. She says it's for a magic trick, so he happily agrees. She picks it up, much to Romeo's dismay. She walks over to the edge of the balcony, and drops it over the side! One floor below, Pinto is hanging out of the window with a net, and catches the statue.

Everyone freaks out. When asked why she did that, she explains it was all a trick, and the statue is actually safely in Romeo's pocket. Of course, this is the replica that Romeo brought with him to switch with the real one. Everyone thinks this is a spectacular stunt, and applauds her cleverness. Everyone except Romeo and Girdy, that is. They sigh in resignation and mild admiration for the way they got aced out of their own heist!

We jump cut to some time later as Seema arrives at her uncle D'Souza's place. She apologizes for not visiting much lately, but they tell her that's no big deal. There's a little small talk, then he asks her if she's got any news on the project she's working on. We get a little flashback to remind us that D'Souza was the man who left Seema's father's office just before he was killed by Jugran. Seema says that if she hears anything about the man they're looking for, she'll get him. He's the only one that can positively ID the man, so she'll get him to make certain.

Speaking of our killer, we jump to him arriving at the inauguration of a library that he (as Manmohan) sponsored. All of the businessmen involved welcome him enthusiastically and lead him up to the front doors. As this is happening, there's a lot going on across the street. We see Seema heading up into a shop, as the men she swapped suitcases with earlier in the movie come around the corner. They're griping amongst themselves about how much better off they'd be financially had they not bumped into her.

We see that the shop Seema went into is actually her fence, and she's secretly selling the shiny statue she skillfully stole. She takes a briefcase full of money with her and heads outside. Across the street, ManmoJugran cuts the ribbon to declare his new library open for use. Back across the street Seema comes down the steps of the shop and literally runs into the men she wronged previously. They recognize her and there is a little chase scene with music that I'm pretty sure was ripped off from Beverly Hills Cop (no, not "Axel F"). Long story short, she ends up hiding in the back of ManmoJugran's car, where she unknowingly comes face to face with her father's murderer. She explains that there are people following her, so ManmoJugran takes her to safety.

ManmoJugran takes her back to his place (wow, he works fast!) and asks her who those people were that were following her. She gives him the vague reply of "whoever they were, they were not good." ManmoJugran gleans that Seema might be into some shady business, so he tries to caution her about getting involved in matters such as those. He tells her that the end result for people in that kind of work is always a bad one. She tells him to save it, and he asks why she's so bitter. She tells him the tale of her father, and how despite being a good and decent man, he was killed. The man who did it still goes unpunished. Therefore she doesn't quite buy into his theory!

ManmoJugran asks her who her father was, and she tells him. He realizes that he's the one she's looking for, so he asks some questions to see how much Seema knows. She tells him that she doesn't know who her father's murderer was, but she's on a mission to find out. She says that she's only alive today to avenge her father, and when she finds his killer...

They are interrupted by the doorman, announcing the arrival of Ravi! Apparently he has an appointment with ManmoJugran to hopefully get some details on Jugran. Ravi and ManmoJugran tell Seema that ManmoJugran has an evil twin brother with the same face, and that he's always up to no good! Seema seems intrigued by this idea, but that line of thought doesn't go anywhere before she is ushered out. ManmoJugran's driver has instructions to take Seema wherever she wants to go, so they head out.
