We
go to the next day at school. Apparently it is "Rose Day," and all the men are
going around giving roses to the ladies in their lives. Yash is naturally trying
to give a flower to Antara but she tells him to stop it. Mrs. Kapadia comes in
and gripes about how disrespectful and annoying the students are becoming, but
she gets embarrassed when a student comes over to give her a flower. She gets
the giggles and runs away, leaving behind a very amused Antara and Yash.
This leads us to a montage of scenes where we see Shaukat typing away furiously and adding page after page to his little plastic bin alternating with scenes of Yash and Antara getting more and more comfortable with each other. This segues into our next musical number, "Khoya Khoya Tha." Yash takes lots of "mental pictures" during this as they dance around an open-air market.

Periodically during the song, we rejoin Shaukat in the study. He spends some time in Book Vision trying to decide what Yash would look like. After the tunes die down, we find Shaukat standing in his study with pictures of men all over the floor as he tries to settle on features for BV Yash. He is interrupted by Rajni who has brought him his afternoon tea. Shaukat looks up at the time, and notices that Antara is late in getting home. He storms out of the office past Rajni, who surveys the floor with an appropriately confused look on her face.
Shaukat
heads over to the college to see what's going on. He walks past a lively bunch
of students, that also includes Yash. He makes his way into one of the
buildings, and encounters Mrs. Kapadia. She is pleased to meet him, and tells
him that she's a fan of his books. Shaukat learns that Antara left the campus at
lunchtime and hasn't returned. Shaukat leaves Mrs. Kapadia hanging in
mid-sentence to go out and look for Antara. Before he gets too far, he changes
his mind and decides that he's going to have a look at Yash. He finds out where
Yash teaches his class, and makes his way over. He finds Yash in an amphitheater
holding his photography course. He tries to open the gate he's standing by, but
it is locked. The noise causes Yash to look in his direction, giving Shaukat a
good look at his face. Apparently he looks just like Shaukat pictured he would,
and he congratulates himself.
We
jump back to the house where Antara is washing up in the bathroom. Shaukat asked
why she didn't come home earlier, and she tells him she had extra classes that
day. Shaukat thinks smugly to himself that this is the first time Antara has
ever blatantly lied to him. He tells himself that this sort of thing is going to
stop, and he will control everything that happens from now on.
The next day we find Antara getting out of her car at work. Mrs. Kapadia comes over to tell her that she got to meet Shaukat yesterday when he came by to see her. Antara gets an "uh oh!" look as she realizes she's been busted. As she frets, Yash appears and breaks her reverie. She's not in the mood to talk to him though, and curtly wishes him a good morning before quickly walking off to class.
That
night, Antara is getting a haircut from Shaukat. She asks him if he came to the
college to pick her up yesterday. He tells her that he knew Mrs. Kapadia would
tell her about it. He asks if she was worried that Yash would learn who he was.
Shaukat tells her that if Yash falls for her it is not her fault. She tells him
that she thinks she should not be lying to Yash, but Shaukat points out that she
really hasn't been. He tells her that if she were to explain to Yash that she is
married he thinks that will cause an irrevocable change in their friendship, and
she would be sorry that it ended.
