Rhea's flight down the sidewalk passes right by Suraj who notices her distress and asks what is wrong. Nikhil catches up to them and they start squabbling as Suraj attempts to calm everyone down. Rocky and Rajat are amused at how Suraj seems to be everywhere, helping people and just generally being Mr. Wonderful. Rajat tries to convince Rocky that Suraj is a hero because he is always in the right place at the right time, and that's it.

Rocky notices that Suraj is walking down the path towards them, so he cuts Rajat off. They welcome Suraj back from jail, and Rajat asks him if he picked up the soap in the jail showers (I'm not kidding, he really does ask). Suraj laughs it all off and asks them if they've heard the principal's latest announcement. The guys say of course not. They just come to College, and don't actually attend any of the classes. Therefore they have not heard the latest news.

Rocky fires off a loud sneeze, upsetting Rajat for the fine sheen that he's recently received from Suraj. Once more the merriment is interrupted when Kamat and Rathode approach them. Rocky and Rajan mockingly come to attention and salute the men, then stand at ease. Rocky sneezes again, and leans forward to wipe off Kamat's shirt. Kamat says that Rocky's got a cold, to which Rocky (yet again) mockingly replies that Kamat's power of observation is so keen that he should have been a detective. Kamat ignores this and asks him how he became ill. Rocky says it's just the chill in the air, but Kamat says that one can also become sick when they fall into ice cold river water.

Just as Rocky runs out of smart remarks, he is saved by a sneeze coming from behind them. He turns to see another student at the basketball court sneezing violently. Rocky calls over to him to ask if he's also got a cold. The young man indicates that this is the case. Rocky then asks him if he fell into the river. The young man gives him an odd look, but doesn't reply. Rocky then turns to Kamat and asks if he noticed that guy's shoes. After all, they could be size 8!

Realizing that he probably doesn't have much to go on here, Kamat doesn't answer. Instead Suraj chimes in with a question - he asks if the killer's body was recovered from the water. Kamat says that it still has not been located, but they've not abandoned the search. He makes some other mildly threatening comments about how crimes like this can't go unpunished forever.

Rajat then asks what brought Kamat to the College this fine autumn day. Kamat says that the bespectacled minor character Atul (still not the "good" Atul) has been missing since the night of the party. He's just there to investigate and ask around about that little problem. With that, he takes his leave of the boys and they snicker behind his back.

Montage time, as we watch classes end for the day. During this little segue, we see Mahek has come back to class. Suraj passes her in a hallway and she lights up, but he doesn't even look at her and continues on his way. Mahek looks hurt by this, but she also seems to be expecting it. A little later, Suraj is inexplicably standing on the rooftop of one of the buildings, looking down over the campus below. Mahek finds him and says hello. Suraj looks happy to see her (no not like that) and gives her a warm greeting.

After a little beating around the bush, she comes down to the reason she's there. She apologizes for wrongly accusing him of attacking her, and thanks him for saving her life. Suraj tells her he understands why she did what she did, and that anyone else would have likely done the same. He also says that anyone else that saw her predicament the other day would also have jumped in to help, so he really wasn't doing anything special. She says that she senses that he's still a little angry with her. Suraj says that he might be, just a little bit. She apologizes once more and says please to get that little bit of extra forgiveness. Suraj thinks about it, then says he'll forgive her on one condition - she has a coffee with him and she has too pay. Sounds like a good deal to Mahek, so off they go.
