Suraj demonstrates his point by sitting Mahek down and taking her palm into his own. He studies the lines on her hand, and begins to tell her what he's "seeing." He acts astonished as he begins predicting her future. He tells her that in one month, one day, and one hour, she's going to be married! Also, she's going to have three daughters just like her, and one son just like himself.

Mahek looks a little surprised at that last one. She joking yanks her hand back and says that she doesn't believe him at all. Suraj tries to cover his little ruse by saying that he meant a son as decent as he is. She says that this is a very old technique for holding a girl's hand. Suraj says what would she think if he didn't want to just hold her hand, but to take it forever? (He means marriage, guys. Not amputation. I realize this is a slasher film, but work with me here.) Mahek realizes that he's serious, but doesn't say anything at this point.

Soon we see the rest of the gang has arrived, as our friends are all seen running around in the streets and looking relaxed that they've finally made it. A quick side-story between Nikhil and Rhea shows Nikhil once again on the verge of proposing, but the wind is stolen from his sails by a story of divorce from Rhea. Nice!

Rocky and Rajat are seen walking near a cafe, and a small Thai man grabs onto their arms and tries to sell them a map to a nice secluded island not too far away. The guys manage to get away from the man while at the same time keeping the map. Sneaky!

The gang finds Mahek and Suraj at another outdoor restaurant on the beach and they are finally reunited. The girls all huddle up and talk about what's been happening as Rocky and Rajat stay somewhat on the sidelines. Rajat fans the flames a little bit, and says that the conditions were favorable for something interesting to have happened while Suraj and Mahek were all alone in a strange land. Rocky doesn't seem amused. He goes over to Suraj and gives him a little bit of a stare-down before leaning over in front of him to talk to Mahek. He's almost sleazy in his compliments to her, then he asks what they're doing that night.

Nikhil sees a sign for a Punjabi Night that evening at 10pm, so they all decide to get a little rest then meet in the hotel lobby for the party. This leads us to the final big musical number, "Ishq Da Mara Hai." This is our item song, so the lead performer is not one of our main cast. That doesn't stop Rocky from getting into the act and flirting like mad with the lovely lady! Before things are wrapped up the rest of the gang all gets a turn to strut their stuff on the stage.

Whatever Rocky was doing on the stage apparently was not blessed by the management. At the end of the song, the girl Rocky was dancing with goes off to get the bouncers and has him and his friends kicked out of the hotel. I'm not sure why, as it seemed as though she was really into it at the time. Ah well, anything to move the plot along!

Outside the hotel, the gang argues over what to do now. It's the middle of the night, and they've been booted from their sleeping arrangements. Most of the group's ire is directed at Rocky for getting them into trouble, but he doesn't act very repentant for his deeds. From his private dialog with Rajat, we learn that Rocky was fooling around with Monica only to get Mahek worked up. This plan did not turn out as planned, and here we are. Rajat tells him that he knows he's fallen in love with Mahek, and he'd best tell her that before it's too late.

Ever the practical one, Nikhil says that whatever's happened has happened, so there's no point dwelling on things now. They need a plan. Rocky suggests they check out the island on the map he got from the guy earlier that day. Most of the group seems keen on the idea, but Suraj doesn't want to go. They finally decide based on Rajat's coin toss to go to the island.
