Just as the group picks up all of their belongings and clears the entryway of
the hotel, a car pulls up to the doorway. Out pops Kamat and Rathore! Kamat takes
a photo of Mahek to the front desk and asks if she's staying there. The clerk
says that they've already checked out, and Kamat puzzles over what to do next.
Meanwhile
our friends have hired a boat (and the sun, as it's now broad daylight) and are
speeding along on their way to the Super Secret Mystery Island (possibly Of
Doom). A few minutes of film pass by as we see all of the youngsters giving each
other That Look or sometimes The Other Look depending on whom they're currently
regarding. Flirting abounds and rivalries are reinforced until they make it to
the island. Once they arrive, everyone seems very impressed with the location
(it is quite nice) and they run around on the beach for a little bit.
Moving
a little further inland, they discover some abandoned shacks not far from the
beach that they decide would make good sleeping arrangements. According to the
captain of the boat that brought them, these were constructed by a research team
that was staying there a year before.
Nikhil stands under a nearby tree and talks to himself. He's holding the
engagement ring in his hand, and says that there's no way Rhea can turn him down
in a place like this! Rhea is too far away to hear what he's saying, but she can
tell he's talking. She asks him what he's doing, and he shrugs it off.
Out of the whole group, the only one that doesn't seem thrilled with the
place is Gehna. They all promise her that they'll only stay for two days and
then head back. A few of the guys taunt her for being a stick in the mud, but
we'll deal with that later. Mahek and Suraj go off to look around, hand in hand.
That last detail doesn't go unnoticed by Rocky, who has a scheming look on his
face.
That
afternoon finds Rocky and Rajat arm wrestling on the beach. After tricking Rocky
in order to win, Rajat gets into another discussion about Rocky's inability to
profess his love for Mahek. He tells him that unprofessed love is always
defeated, so Rocky goes running off down the beach (once again reminding me that
it is absolutely impossible to look cool while running in knee-deep water).
Rocky runs for a minute or two before reaching the shacks. He stands outside
the girls' dormitory and knocks. Hearing nothing, he tries it one more time
before cautiously opening the door to let himself in. He sees someone's butt
sticking out from behind an open closet door and assumes it is Mahek. He clears
his throat and calls her name, only to discover that it's Gehna, not Mahek, when
she steps back from the closet.
Rocky
quickly apologizes, but Gehna's got a different tone to her voice. She's really
hitting the sultry angle pretty hard, and is giving Rocky quite the look. Rocky
is oblivious to this and thinks she's just being difficult with him, as she
often is. He gets right up next to her and asks her what her problem is, and why
she's always on his case. Much to Rocky's surprise, Gehna shoves him forcefully
onto the bed and lands on top of him, kissing him furiously and suffering from a
serious case of Busy Hands. All of this is witnessed by Rajat who happened to be
walking past the window about the time of Gehna's first lunge.
Rocky escapes from under Gehna only to be caught again as he stands up. She
pins him against the closet and pressed her attack, grabbing at Rocky and
kissing him wherever she can get her face on him. Rocky tears himself away from
her and asks her what she thinks she's doing. Gehna demands to know what Mahek
has that she doesn't, that everyone goes crazy for her, leaving Gehna alone.
Rocky doesn't answer, but simply says for her to leave him alone. Gehna says
that Mahek is clearly in love with Suraj, while all along Gehna's been available
and interested. Rocky tells her that she's gone mad, and turns to leave. No one
had noticed that Mahek had just entered the room, and is very confused about
what's going on. She asks Gehna what happened, but with the sound of a pounding
drum, Gehna turns her back to Mahek with an angry hair flip.
