Night falls on the island. Inside Mahek's hut, she's doing that kind of sleeping that no one ever actually does - the violent tossing and turning of the head and arm twitching to mean "I'm having a nightmare!" Whatever she's dreaming of finally wakes her up, and she sits bolt upright in her bed, frantically scanning the darkness of her room for anything unusual. She can't see anything in the gloom, so she lights a candle and holds it up to get a better view. In the flickering light of the flame, she sees a reflection glinting off of the knife held by the Joker very close to her bed! Mahek screams and flies out of the door. She pounds on Suraj's door but no one answers. She runs to the next hut and repeats the pounding process, and Rajat opens up.

Mahek dives into the room and breathlessly tells Rajat that "he" is here and is going to kill her. Rajat initially looks at her without really comprehending what's going on. She clarifies by saying that "he" is in her room, and she's afraid for her life. Understanding creeps into Rajat's eyes and he takes a quick look outside to make sure the coast is clear. Then, he closes and bars the door to his hut, then moves to check the other points of entry. As he does so, he starts to think the situation over. He asks how the joker could be there in the first place. It doesn't make sense for him to have somehow tracked them here.

By this time, Rajat is at one of the windows. He sits down on a chest in front of it, and tells her that even if there was a killer on the island, she wouldn't have to worry. Like in all of the horror movies, the heroine is always the last one to be attacked. It's small fries like him that have to worry! Mahek tells him to shut up and get serious, when all of a sudden the window behind Rajat shatters into the room, and he is pulled halfway out. The Joker drags his knife clumsily across Rajat's neck, smearing blood on his throat and somehow making Rajat bleed from his mouth.

Of course Mahek is upset by this and goes running out of the front door to the hut and onto the beach. The screen goes through some odd distortions, I believe meant to illustrate the delirious state of mind that Mahek finds herself in. She runs back and forth on the beach, calling for Suraj and/or Rocky to come and help her. Rocky finally appears outside of a hut, and looks down the shore to see Mahek standing there wailing. Suraj appears in the other direction, running full speed for Mahek. Rocky joins in the sprinting, and soon the three of them are together trying to piece together what happened. Mahek is able to babble out the name "Rajat," so the men take off for Rajat's hut.

Inside, they find only the broken window. No body can be seen anywhere near the site of the attack. A bloody trail leads out of the door, but no one seems interested in following it.

Outside on the beach, somewhere away from all of the action and screaming, Nikhil and Rhea are running around on the beach. They spend a few minutes doing cutesy little "you can't catch me!" "oh yes I can!" games until Nikhil plops down on the sand. Rhea joins him, then asks him if he will marry her. Nikhil quickly sits up, noticing that she's taken the question he's been trying to ask the whole damn movie. She tells him that she doesn't mean right away, but in a few years. She then asks him about the ring he's been hiding since they got there. She wants to know who he plans to give that to. Nikhil says she's cute when she's angry, then he puts the ring on her finger.

They get to giggling and rolling around on the sand, doing lots of "I love you!" "No, I love YOU!" stuff until they end up almost in the water. At one point Rhea says that Nikhil's hand is hurting her, but he says his hands are not underneath her. He holds them both up to prove it. She then asks what it is that she's lying on. She sits up, and that's when they notice they're over on their hands-to-body ratio. Rhea screams so loudly that the three people back at the huts hear her. They all go running over to Rhea and Nikhil, who have discovered the rest of the body to go with the hand - Gehna's turned up, and now that she's no longer buried in the sand is floating merrily along in the surf as the others stand around wondering what's going to happen next.
