The giant sanguine cloud filling the water nearby draws Nikhil's attention, and he quickly ascertains what has happened. He swims over to Rhea and tries to get her to the surface, but she's already beginning to sink lower into the pool oops! I mean ocean.

Nice effects work guys. It's really hard to see in this sized screen shot, but the tube that is being used to pump the fake blood out of Rhea's neck is plainly visible just to her left. There's even a big loop in it, and it shines in the light that is coming from the surface about a foot over the actors' heads. Also visible in this shot, the folds in the fabric around the pool, and the pool's floor. Real nice! I could spot all of these on a small-ish computer monitor. I can't imagine how bad this looked on the big screen.

The divers surface and cling to the remains of the raft. Suraj breaks the news to Mahek, and Nikhil does one of those classic slow-motion screams into the sky of the name of the dearly departed. Dejected and defeated, the survivors trudge back up the beach from whence they started. Nikhil flops onto his face and begins crying like an insane person, pounding the sand, writhing around, and screaming out Rhea's name in between choking sobs. Mahek also freaks out, telling Suraj that she knew that "he" wouldn't let them leave the island alive, then starts in on Rocky. She says that he was the last one to join their little group for the trip, and was also the first to the scene when Rajat and Gehna died. Rocky sees where she's going with this, and tells her that she's crazy.

Mahek runs down the beach for a short distance, then starts screaming into the woods that she's waiting on the beach, and tells "him" to come and get her. She then says that she's not going to die here, and repeats this in a couple of languages before collapsing to the sand. A transition allows everyone to calm down a little, and the sun has begun to set. The four vacationers sit on the beach in silence. Mahek sits close to Suraj, while Rocky gives her an appraising look. Nikhil is lying halfway in the water, staring blankly at the sky. Suddenly, he hears Rhea's voice calling his name, causing him to sit up quickly and look around with a manic gleam in his eye. Mahek and Suraj watch this with confusion as Rocky continues his staring at Mahek, paying Nikhil no attention.

Nikhil looks like he's about to explode. He screams his own "You Bas! Tard!" into the trees, follows up with an "I'll kill you!" then runs into the woods at full speed. Mahek and Suraj try to stop him, but Rocky says to let him go, thinking Nikhil needs to be alone and to blow off some steam. Time passes. Mahek says that he's been gone for a long time, and she's worried that something has happened (it's not like a precedent has been set for that or anything!). Suraj asks Rocky to go look for him. Rocky says he's not Suraj's servant, and tells him to go look for himself. Mahek is tired of all of the chest-pounding, so she says that she'll go look. Rocky rolls his eyes and says fine, he'll go check.

Rocky heads back to the shacks and cautiously looks around. Tiptoeing through the area carefully, he examines a few trouble spots before moving on. We cut back to Suraj and Mahek on the beach, doing nothing at all but looking worried. Suddenly their silence is broken by the sound of Rocky yelling Nikhil's name!

The two worriers come running up to the general direction of the sound, only to find Rocky cradling Nikhil's bloody body on the sand. This is bad enough, but there's also a curiously large amount of blood on Rocky's clothes, in places that it ordinarily wouldn't be if one was just holding a body that was on the ground.

Suraj and Mahek stop short of the scene, and look at Rocky with accusations and horror in their eyes. Sensing that he's in the hot seat, Rocky quickly tells them that he didn't do anything. He begs them to believe him, and takes us through a little mini-flashback to show us how his clothes got all bloody on his shoulders.
