Vik relays Mansi's answer and asks him to clear the set. Manav wanders away and the shoot starts up again to get some of the background footage. Mansi goes to her dressing tent only to find Manav has snuck in. He stops her before she can leave and explains that he made a mistake. He apologizes for what he said at the house, and tells her that he respects her even more now. The fact that she can sacrifice her own love for the honor of her family shows him that she will be dedicated and faithful.

They are interrupted by Prabha and Vik's assistant who come in to have her sign the contract. As Manav looks on, she somewhat reluctantly does so. She is now bound to the studio for the next three years, and if you'll recall she is not to marry or have relationships during that time. They leave Manav and Mansi alone again. Manav produces the stones from Mansi's old necklace out of his pocket. He tells her that he will repair the necklace, and that she will have to wear it again.

He predicts that she will come running into his arms again, then leaves her alone in the tent. As Manav is leaving he is intercepted by Vik. Vik asks him how his chat with Mansi went. Manav tells him that she signed on with Vik's company and resigned on him. Vik gets a little chuckle, then tries to explain to Manav how once people become celebrities, they are usually out of reach of the everyday person. Manav repeats his prediction to Vik - one day Mansi will come to him, and then adds that Vik will be the one to send her.

Back at the Mehta residence, Manav is sitting at a piano and plinking out one of the tunes we've heard throughout the movie. Jagmo and Deep come in to have a chat with him about the recent events. Manav tells him that his family had humiliated Tara and Mansi, and that is why Tara acted the way he did. He doesn't say what Tara did was right either, but he wanted to get the facts straight. He does add the footnote that the part about him loving Mansi and his plans to marry were also true. Jagmo takes a moment to process this. He asks what Manav's plans are now. Manav tells him that he won't cause a scene or do anything that will besmirch the family's image. He once again makes a prediction, and says that Jagmo will not forbid this marriage and will be happy to see it come to pass.

Jagmo isn't so sure about that. He doesn't think Mansi will ever come willingly to their house. Manav (again) tells him that if his love is true, then she will come into the family, and Jagmo himself will welcome her.

Manav scoops up the green stones from the broken necklace and walks past Jagmo and Deep and heads off while we hear subtle singing begin in the background.
