Vik shoos Brownie away. Seeing nothing better to do, Brownie then runs directly into the thick of the mild riot that is going on. Manav sees him in the fracas and rushes to save him from being trampled. The cops try to restrain him, but this only sends Manav into a fit and he struggles against the men holding him. Since this is a Bollywood film, the cops use this as an excuse to beat Manav about the head and neck with their wooden sticks. Ila, Shannu, and Mansi all see this happening and get out of their respective cars to watch in horror as Manav bravely gets up and marches back into the fight to save his dog.

Brownie has wiggled out of the main mass of people and is caught by Ila. She goes to the edge of the group and hands him back to Manav. He thanks her enthusiastically, and she starts to cry and walk away. Manav looks a little confused by her reaction, but before we can really do anything with this scene it ends.

We see Vik get into the car with Ila and Shannu, and asks them to tell him what Manav said to Mansi in the airport lounge. Ila tells him what Manav said about how if they were to be wed, it would be a lie to Vik since she was still hung up on Manav. Before we get his reaction, we cut over to Tara's car where one of his students points out that Jagmo has also come to the party.

Vik heads over to Mansi's car but is stopped by a wandering holy man. Mansi gives him a coin, and he blesses her. We begin a countdown of sorts, with Banerjee periodically coming into a scene to tell us how many couples are left to get licenses before it is Mansi and Vik's turn.

Vik gets into the limo with Mansi and raises the windows to talk privately. He asks her if she is happy, and she replies that she is. He asks her if she loves him, and she doesn't answer directly. She only says "what kind of a question is that!"

Vik tells her that when she gave the coin to the holy man, it reminded him of his mother and her three rules. He tells her that he feels like he is losing today, and he's not used to that. He says that it is Manav that is trying to defeat him. He asks Mansi if she feels indebted to him, then she should help him to win.

She asks Vik how she's supposed to help him. He tells her to look at him, and see that he is filled with greed and arrogance. While Manav, he is filled with love and Godliness. This true love of Manav's has hurt Vik, since Vik doesn't know how to love like that. Vik says that he can see her love for Manav as clear as day, and that she should go to him. She should open the door, and run to him in front of everyone. That will give all three of them happiness.

Mansi climbs out of the car, but Vik catches her arm before she leaves. He removes the bangle he had given her from her wrist, then sends her off to be with her true love. (Spooky... one of Manav's predictions came true!) Mansi goes tearing off across the grass towards where she last saw Manav as the lively version of "Ishq Bina Kya" kicks in on the soundtrack. Several dozen people from the crowd also run after her for their own reasons. We see the family members learning of the news and they all rush out to see it for themselves.
