We
see Manav loading Brownie into his car. He notices a noise, and looks up to see
five hundred people running towards him, led by Mansi. She stops before she
reaches him, and begins stammering. Unable to form a complete word, she just
sort of stares at Manav helplessly. Manav smiles at her and holds up the
necklace of green stones from the village. We get a dramatic camera move to
reveal Tara and Jagmo standing next to them. They tell her they first separated
them, and now they are bringing them together. They bless the couple, and then
give them some space to hug. (Two more of the predictions!)
As
they finally clutch each other in a happy embrace, Prabha and Banerjee look on
from across the way. Banerjee takes Prabha's hand and gives her the "frisky
eyebrows," and she doesn't make him stop! Up on the floats with the band, Vik
gives Manav a wave and a wink then goes back to partying.
Some of the closing title cards come in reminding us to "Rise, not Fall in
Love," then we see the last of Manav's predictions coming true:
The final shot is of the virtuous three rules of Vik's mother,
reminding us of the right way to live. The end!
